Also, our vacation homes do not have many of the consumable items in stock for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.). Once you book your vacation, we’ll provide you with a list of items that you may want to consider bringing with you on your vacation. For Beach Renourishment Updates, please visit the Town of North Topsail Beach's Facebook Page or Dune Renourishment Project website. Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. This property is managed by Access Realty in Surf City, NC. **Cancellation: Any cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made in writing by Guest. Reservation payments are not reimbursable unless the property can be re-rented for the same rate and time period. Every effort will be made to re-book the property. If property is re-rented, Guest will receive reimbursement of payments made less nonrefundable reservation fee, cancellation fee (varies by property), and third-party fees (travel insurance, security deposit alternative, insurance, convenience fee, etc.). Insurance fees shall not be reimbursed unless the Agent is reimbursed by the issuing insurance company. **Check In Day: Check-in begins at 4:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as we are notified your rental is ready for check in, we will give you a courtesy call on the cell phone number that you provided above and we will send your check in instructions via email. All homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue keys or passes. Please note: keys or door codes will NOT be given to anyone under the age of 25 or to anyone who is not named on the reservation. If you need to authorize someone other than yourself to pick up keys or receive a door code email, please notify our office prior to your arrival date. **Early check-ins and Late check-outs must be pre-approved and are not allowed if there is a reservation checking out the same day another reservation is checking in. You may contact us the week of your arrival to determine if there is any availability to add an early check in or late check out. There is a fee associated with early check ins and late check outs. **After Hours Check Ins are available for anyone scheduled to arrive after 5pm or on Sunday when our offices are closed. Please notify us as soon as you are aware you will need an After Hours Check In. Additional amenities: Full Kitchen

Great location

First impressions mean alot. When you walk in this house you are hit with a wave of wet dog smell. Not sure whether it's where guest have kept wet dogs or if carpet got wet during a storm. Then you go up stairs. The rooms are nice and good size. We noticed all mattresses had new mattress covers which was nice. The mattresses were not new and springs could be felt. Each ceiling fan in the house had at least a years worth of dust on them. The bed in the king room upstairs squeaked every time you moved. The bathroom upstairs still had toothpaste spit or old soap all around the sink. There has been some water damage in the kitchen in the past. The hardwoods are unlevel and easy to trip over for older folks, I assume from the water damage. Stairs are very steep and narrow. The furniture in the living and dining room are ok but well worn. The decks looking over the ocean is great if you get past the bird poop. Being this close to the pier means lots of birds and they land everywhere. You couldn't ask for a better location. Beaches are not crowded and the fishing is good. The house needs a deep cleaning and probably a new cleaning crew. To the reality companies defense they do state if your house is dirty to contact them within the first two hours of check-in and they will address the issue. We did not contact them because 1. We shouldn't have too 2. Who wants to vacate while a cleaning crew comes back to do what they didn't do the first time 3. Who wants to be in there while a ticked off cleaning crew is in the house working around your stuff you just unloaded. The reality company was great to deal with, very friendly and helpful before the stay. Communication was great leading up to the stay as well as for checkout.

Great ocean front house

This duplex is right on the beach with new flooring and fresh paint. It has a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and it is clean. There are games for rainy days and easy access to the pier for fishing. We enjoyed our stay, despite some gloomy weather.
