Chalet Vista is a beautiful, well equipped 3 bedroom holiday property (sleeping 8) with stunning views and garden in the idyllic mountain village of Stiška Vas on Krvavec mountain. Krvavec is home to one of Slovenia's best ski areas (10 minutes drive from the chalet) and is a wonderful place for outdoor activities all year round with excellent walking, mountain biking & paragliding on the doorstep. It is also a fantastically accessible location at just 15 mins from Ljubljana airport and very well placed for exploring Slovenia – with central Ljubljana, world famous Lake Bled & medieval Kamnik all within cca 30 minutes drive.

Very good stay
Sometimes you want to keep secrets to yourself. This is one! What a beautiful place and wonderful stay. The house was very nice. Comforting peaceful and clean.
There is nothing more beauty then waking up, look out the window and see you are above the clouds.
The location was perfect. A good distance of all beautiful places, like bled,lubjana and velika planina.
The stay was good. The communication was good. The booking was good.
We will come back next year. Thats for sure.
We stayed with 2 adults and 3 young kids. ( 1,3,5 years)

Comfortable place for vacation
We stayed in Shalet Vista one week during February and it was very pleasant. House is comfortable, clean and warm. It has more possibilities to enjoy during warmer days since there is great terrace with BBQ and nice view.
Everything was as agreed and we left it very satisfied.
Thank you for nice vacation that we had.

Máxima tranquilidad con vistas a la montaña
Espectacular, no tiene mas palabras. Si quieres desconectar del ajetreo de la ciudad este es el lugar ideal, algo perdida si, pero cuando pasas el día de turismo al regresar, lo único que te espera es la tranquilidad de esta casa acogedora con todas las comodidades que necesitas. Pese a lo alejada que se encuentra, esta situada a 45 min de Bled y a 1h 20 min de Bovec, lugares ideales para excursiones y actividades al aire libre. Muchísimas gracias a Dan Bendall y a Ana de Think Slovenia, hemos pasado unos días maravillosos. Hasta pronto.

A mountain haven
I have stayed at Chalet Vista 4 times now. Twice with friends for a snowboarding long weekend, once with my family including two pensioners and children aged 4 and 7 and once during my recent study leave. The house is cosy and comfortable and it feels like a proper retreat there. It's a bit of an adventure driving up the mountain to get there and rising through the clouds on occasion makes it feel like you have reached the top of the world. You also get to feel quite accomplished as you need to employ your fire lighting skills when you get there to keep the place all warm and toasty in the winter. We had fun tobogganing on the hill opposite with the kids in the snow and wondering in the mountains for walks in sunshine and in the snow. This is a great place to get away from it all but it is close enough to the city and other attractions for you to eat out around Lake Bled on one day and be up the slopes boarding another. We used it to adventure into Austria on one trip too.
I have only been there in the winter but imagine it would be great in summer with the great views from the balcony. I enjoyed watching the fireworks from there on New Year's Eve.
If you're looking for a taste of Slovenian mountain life and a cosy retreat then this is the place for you.

Beautiful location, Excelent house, very well equipped and maintained
We are a family of 5, with 3 lively young children.
We had a lovely time in Chalet Vista. The place was just as beautiful as in the pictures, or even more...
Everything was clean and fresh and welcoming, and the place was very well equipped in all aspects (kitchenware, toilet, living room - including social games, bedrooms). Every detail was thought of for the comfort of the guests.
The view from the porch is fantastic, and the whole scenery was peaceful. We even had a few rainy mornings, and actually enjoyed spending the time inside :-)
We recommend this rental house warmly.
