Cercando un appartamento vicino alle terme di Rapolano questa è stata la nostra prima scelta,rapiti dalla bellezza del borgo. Avevamo bisogno di "staccare la spina" e ci siamo perfettamente riusciti! Che sia stato il buon cibo,l arredamento tutto in rigorosa arte povera,che sia stato il cambio di clima siamo riusciti a riposare e sentirci a casa a oltre 300km di distanza. Questi appartamenti rispondono alle esigenze sia di chi soggiorna un weekend sia qualche giorno in più come noi! Un comodo angolo cottura che da sul soggiorno provvisto di caminetto( ci abbiamo cucinato dell'ottima carne locale!!)camere spaziose e bagno con tanto di vasca da bagno,riscaldamento autonomo,TV e wi fi ci hanno permesso di trascorre una piacevole vacanza. Abbiamo girato si,ma è sempre stato piacevole anche rientrare in casa dove abbiamo collezionato qualche ricordo! Un valido motivo per ritornarci è il grande lavoro che ha fatto Paolo)uno dei gestori) ha riassunto in un interessantissimo libro che abbiamo divorato con curiosità circa le origini e le evoluzioni di questo borgo! È bello scoprire i "segreti" di un luogo che per qualche giorno è stato anche nostro!

This is a nice apartment for a family or group of friends that wants to spend some time (way) out in the country, and plans to stay in during the evenings by the fireside. The kitchen was modern, spotless and fit in with the rustic surroundings. We appreciated the charm of the restored building and friendliness of the proprietors, and enjoyed walking up the sloping lane seeing farm animals and quaint outbuildings. There are excellent thermal spas and a good full-service supermarket in town, about 20 minutes away. We stayed in the lower apartment with one bathroom and two bedrooms, a queen in one room and two twins in the other, and a futon on the living room. No wifi. There was a sloped cobble stoned entryway that was a bit difficult to negotiate for one of our ladies who was elderly with a disability. However, we cut back the length of our stay as we were three women and felt that the property was very remote and we felt isolated. You couldn't really go out after dark for a walk anywhere, and it was not close to town. Additionally, it is located behind and past a large industrial park (that was deserted at night) and was a challenge to find with poor signage so we weren't keen to try to find this again at night in the dark.

We spent a week at this location. It was such a treat. We loved being out in the middle of the rolling hills of Tuscany with an amazing view of nature. We had a kitchen that we used quite a bit and it was adequately stocked. The unit was spacious and comfortable. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it would make a perfect location for 2 couples or 2 singles traveling together. The views were amazing off of our deck. There are wonderful hiking paths amongst the wheat fields. I thought that maybe we would have been happier in a vineyard, but not so. The different crops paint the landscape just as beautifully as the vineyards. We loved the people there. Paola, the manager, speaks very good English and was most helpful, as was the groundskeeper's family. The grounds are spectacular and quiet. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful place to get away from the hustle of the big cities, we found the perfect spot. It is a wonderful location in the middle of many Tuscany villages that we loved visiting on day trips. We drove all of the back roads of Tuscany and loved it, but it was wonderful to come back to the peace of our apartment.
