Posto meraviglioso, complimenti al gestore Paolo che mantiene la struttura in perfetto stato non tralasciando nessun particolare. Il panorama e’ piu che spettacolare da piu punti della rocca, ogni allogio e’ dotato di tutti i confort e ha il suo spazio privato, la vista dalla piscina e' un incanto, abbiamo passato 4 giorni in totale relax con la nostra cagnolina, provare per credere ! torneremo di sicuro :) !

Siamo stati in 8 amici per lo scorso fine settimana in Umbria, e abbiamo soggiornato in questo bellissimo Borghetto antico convertito in piccoli e graziosi appartamenti. Il proprietario Paolo è stato sempre poi il Plus del residence, persona incantevole. Inoltre vi è la possibilità di fare la brace con posti a sedere per più di 40 persone.. che dire, un incanto.. da ritornarci!!

We had the pleasure of staying in Paulo's home for one incredible month. Paulo went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived in Terni and his daughter offered to pick us up and drove us to Ferentillo. We were in awe as we entered the village and drove up to our destination. Seriously..... jaw dropping! Paulo's home is a newly renovated home (by Paulo himself) in a very old village just below a medieval castle. It's a 5 minute walk to the castle and there are many hikes beyond it to explore and in other areas of town as well. If you are a climber, this is your heaven. We did not rent a car so we got to know the town very well. It is within walking distance to the grocery store and bus stop. There is an amazing little pizza-by-the-slice and fresh pasta market that we absolutely loved, a small little local bar, and a restaurant in within walking distance as well. It is a very remote and peaceful village. We had a couple get togethers with Paulo up in his beautiful patio, which were way above and beyond any restaurant experience we have had in Italy. We had the pleasure of meeting his family as well, who are just as sweet and inviting as Paulo. The home is amazingly clean and cozy and Paulo let us use the washer in his office home we we needed to. We honestly felt like family by the time we left and are planning on revisiting his home in the future.

Absolutely a wonderful find. The location provides beautiful views of this lovely town of Ferentillo. The accomodations are very comfortable and the owner is a warm and caring gentleman who makes you feel as a family member rather than a guest. My greatest joy of Italy is the people. That's what makes Le Rocche Residence a beautiful place to stay. We were there the month of October and plan to return next October.

My family of three stayed here recently for 9 nights. We knew this area of Umbria to be lovely, but we were pleasantly surprised with wonderful Paolo, our host, and all of Ferentillo. Paolo has several connected vacation apartments that share some common areas and amenities. Ours was the lower of three historic tiny homes built into the side of the mountain, just below the castle ruins. Each has its own private terrace and each with full access to the larger upper terraces with pool, sauna, outdoor kitchen and grill. The landscaping is beautiful and the views are incredible. Paolo was very welcoming, so warm and sweet, and often brought us espresso or pastries or wine, just because. He hosted a wonderful cookout one evening for all staying in the properties plus other local friends. Every day, Paolo makes sure all is well, provides recommendations for sightseeing or restaurants, offers a friendly face and maybe a hug, but he never intrudes. He made our stay full of fond memories. We hope to return in future and explore more of Umbria. The house was comfortable and well furnished and included a living/dining/kitchen space with pull out sofa as well as a bedroom with French size bed. It was just right for three but may be a little tight for more unless most are small children. There is a bit of noise from the upstairs property, but plan to have a busy outdoor day and you'll sleep right through it all. I would highly recommend this perfect spot and anything hosted by Paolo.

Sono Simone sono stato ospite del recidence dal 14 al 18 aprile nella Casa Smeraldo, ho scelto questa struttura viste le ottime recensioni e la splendida posizione, sono rimasto totalmente affascinato dalla meravigliosa vista che offre la casa e tutto il recidence la cura dei dettagli e la tranquillità di cui si può godere durante tutta la giornata. Pranzare sul balconcino privato con vista sulla Valnerina è all'altezza di un ristorante 5 stelle. Non ho trovato assolutamente niente degno della più piccola critica. Paolo il gestore è l'anima e lo specchio del residence, persona cordiale disponibile premurosa che svolge il suo lavoro con passione e si nota, insomma un padrone di casa vecchia maniera, appassionato di pesca come me non si è fatto scappare l'occasione per un paio di battute di pesca lungo... anzi dentro ...gli splendidi fiumi della Valnerina...giornate veramente belle. Grazie Paolo complimenti e a prestissimo....

Per il periodo pasquale abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno presso il “Valnerina Residence” a Ferentillo. L’impressione è da punteggio pieno per questo rinnovato insediamento, ricostruito sui perimetri di vecchi edifici abbarbicati alle rocce della montagna, sul lato idrografico di destra della valle, che qui si restringe decisamente. Le costruzioni, ristrutturate secondo criteri rispettosi della architettura locale, con pietra a vista ma con coperture coibentate secondo i fondamenti del risparmio energetico, sono arredati con gusto, offrendo anche la possibilità di usufruire di terrazzini molto panoramici, dove l’occhio spazia sulla valle sottostante e oltre. Poco sopra questo piccolo nucleo di edifici sorge una delle due antiche torri di Ferentillo poste a guardia della valle. Noi abbiamo optato per l’appartamento più piccolo: un bilocale con uso cucina più bagno e con terrazzo. L’ambiente interno era pulito e tutto, dall’arredo alle stoviglie, era nuovo. Paolo, il proprietario, è un buon conversatore, è disponibile per qualsiasi bisogno e può dare diverse informazioni sulle mete della zona che sono numerose e interessanti, sia dal punto di vista paesaggistico che artistico. In breve: una gradevole soluzione per un soggiorno che ci sentiamo di raccomandare.
