Booked this hotel via booking.com for Sunday 24th November, arrived in St Davids to find no one at the accommodation to welcome us / let us in, went to a local pub (around 4pm) and spent the next 6 hours trying to contact elusive owner also phoned booking.com (which again was also a nightmare) process is they try and contact the owner too, give him 30 mins to respond and if no answer they will cancel the room and find you alternative accommodation) After about 4 x calls to booking.com (takes around 10-20 mins to get through to someone on their helpdesk each time) advised us they have booked alternative accommodation (turned up there at 10pm) no record of that booking from booking.com we were the only ones in the hotel (room was freezing)
So our one night in St Davids was ruined by the hassle this owner had caused us, would AVOID boking here (speaking to the barstaff in the local pub we spent our evening he has history of doing this type of thing with previous guests. Seemingly finishes his shift at the local eatery (with same name) and goes to the pub (and obviously forgets about his guests or his business)
Hasn't responded to any phone calls (or messages on booking.com) No apologies or explanations, Absolute joke.
Because booking.com 'cancelled' the booking then you are unable to leave a review on their website (as you technically never stayed there) so who knows how many times he has done this.

Please do not book this place. Booked for a long weekend getaway for next and my wife. Arrived to find that not only was there no one there to welcome us. When we did finally get into the room via a girl from the restaurant with the same name. It hadn’t been cleaned so the girl said we couldn’t stay there. It was bank holiday weekend so no where else was free to stay. We ended up having to spend another 3 and 1/2 hours to go back home.

Basic no frills accommodation in the centre of St Davids.
It had the most comfortable bed.
We were able to watch Netflix etc on the TV.
Owner had provided us with plenty of tea/coffee, and there was water in the fridge.
Ideal for a couple of nights.

Spacious room with super comfortable king bed and nice linens. Bathroom stylish and clean. Having a second room with a view of the cathedral was great, with a huge window and a place to make tea and sit and enjoy that view. Only downside was the lack of a curtain or blind on that big window - as there is no door between the two rooms, light floods in.

Stayed here for one night & thought the location and views were great.
However the accommodation itself is very poor & disappointing. Can’t believe the price they’re asking for such “basic” facilities!
As previous reviews have said it wouldn’t take or cost much to make this into luxury accommodation.
There was an attempt at providing a hospitality tray … but no milk anywhere to be found - not even uht cartons!!
No door between lounge & bedroom so light flooded in as no blind or curtains in the lounge either.
Handle for the folding bathroom door is on the bedroom side so couldn’t close it from inside the bathroom… how pointless!
Not the cleanest place either with cobwebs on light fittings etc.
So many other things too… electric heater being powered off 2 joining extension leads etc 🤷🏻♂️
Such a shame as it could be a great place to stay. It’s obvious that the owner clearly isn’t interested in this part of the business
