Ragazzo marocchino molto gentile e disponibile e brava cuoca. A colazione yogurt, succo d'arancia fresca, vari pani, burro, marmellate, pain au chocolat e caffè (o the/latte).

Hello to you, I see that you were very satisfied with the riad, both by its privileged location, its cleanliness, its staff, always at your disposal and the riad very nice You tell me that you had difficulty with the payment of your credit card, sir, your booking was sent to you on June 6, an email via the intermediary who sold you the stay, you were relaunched maointes and many times until October 16, date of your arrival, Not once, you sent us your email, to have (the voucher, map information on payment with the possibility of a transfer by the bank) In addition you had the exact amount to pay more than 4 1/2 months before coming; but not a message from you Go through intermediaries it's good, but know that you will never have the information, as you could have them directly by booking the riad Thank you for the poor rating you gave us Yours truly

Please could someone provide me with the email address for the hotel? I can’t seem to find it anywhere! Thank you
It's on the French version of their website (I can't post it here as TripAdvisor won't let me). Christian, the owner, wrote to me in English and we then switched to French as it seemed easier! Whatever you prefer.

How come my relatively negative comment is not added to Trip Advidor?! Riad Dar Bounouar… For our first vacations in a year, we wanted, my wife and I to get away from our daily routine and experience a real marakechi life, that’s why we ended up in the Medina. We had been offered a voucher to use with a travel agency (normally we book everything ourselves). The Riad, as depicted on the web site seemed like a real gem… spacious, well maintained and within the Medina. Reading all the wonderful reviews, we booked it, with a lighted heart! We are a couple in our thirties, that usually travels backpacking, and we don’t usually need much to be pleased. On our day of arrival, after having wandered in the Medina for 40 minutes - finding the Riad, even with a map, can be really tricky the first times … we ended up in the Riad ( there is no signs to lead you there)… waited for 30 min (with a welcoming mint tea, one of many in Marrakesh) before someone came to us to finally show us the room. We were in the Chagall room, a small bedroom, that seemed decent at first… The room is rather small, and darkly lighted, and could easily use a bit of fresh paint. Anyhow, first day in Marrakesh, that wasn'tgoing to compromise our good spirit. Before heading to the Medina, we went for a shower in our small bathroom… But hot water never came, the individual heater hadn’t been plugged! (Cherry on the cake) The space in between doors and walls were so thick that you could easily fit a wrist/ hand in between them… We had a door, in our bedroom that directly led to the dining room, a door that was closed on both sides. On our first night, people were, (as they should do) chit chatting in the dining room, and made our first night difficult to bear… The mattress was so hard, that I woke up the next morning with a soar back and arm… while my wife had’t closed her eyes all night long. The wake up call, came from the dining room, where guest were having breakfast… judging by the sound you could almost believed, that breakfast was happening in our bedroom. We had to change the room, but no one could meet our expectations, an absent owner/boss, and a staff that was doing its best, but failed to do so. We were proposed another room for night 2, but that was a temporary solution, since we had to go back to Chagall the day after, the spare room was rented to some other guests on day three! Anyhow, after seeing/ hearing all the guests complaining on a daily basis-too much noises in the patio (and hence the 4 patio rooms) the coldness of the rooms at night, (we were gently provided with 3 extra blankets, and a portable heater) cold water and pipe issues… We felt the urge to describe our stay Our room normal rate is 100€/ night Even if we paid 80 with our agency, I’ll resume our commodities A freaking hard double bed mattress, no tv (we didn’t need it anyway) drafts during the night, due to unusual gaps, between doors and walls, a flooded bathroom ( but we eventually got hot water on day two) a non existing air con ( as stipulated on the web site) a toilet flush that disappeared on day 5… ) We finally got another room on day 6, for the last day…though I have no comments yet, since we haven’t spend the night yet… the mattress looked better, the only real thing that mattered to us. The staff: really friendly people, eager to help, with what they can, to make sure that your stay reaches your expectations… (but it ends up being like trying to find a needle in a haystack!) They seem unable to cope with most of the issues listed above… and the manager in charge… had too many things to deal with to be efficient and professional. We were told that we should have refused the room upfront on the first night, to avoid the nightmare we lived. We were proposed to move to the seaside (2hours from Marrakech) or to an apartment close to Majorelle garden, or a full reimbursement, and we had to look for another Riad. We refused all of the above propositions, since we wanted to stay in the Medina, and looking for a Riad on Easter weekend… ended up not being a real solution. Staying in one of the four standard rooms in that Riad is like directly sleeping in the patio, you get the night calls (the patio is in the meantime the reception), the early risers, the late sleepers… the drafts, and the constant noises of metal chairs/tables being used in the patio. And paying 80 bucks for that, is hard to accept. We’ve travelled in many countries with my wife, and in some countries that have lower standards of living. Never did we get such conditions. We were about to fly back home earlier than expected, but decided to get away of the Riad as much as we could to stay away of that nightmarish experience, and enjoy what one’s out to live, in that lively capital, yet with a bitter taste, of having being treated like 2 milking cows, in a foreign country. “Stay away, unless you’re willing to spare a hundred bucks a night for a bootcamp”
