One thing that I hadn't realized was that this 165 year home had been vacant for the past 20 years with exterior walls missing until just this last year. It was on the top 10 endangered Indiana historical places in both 2014 & 2015. So it's coming along nicely and well priced for the quality being provided. They are in phase 2 of 3 stages of renovation so don't be taken back if the exterior isn't a well manicured 150+ year old hotel. I called them directly as I wasn't sure we could get a room for our needs. they suggested a room for our family of four. Plenty of floor space and private bath. Within walking distance of downtown and a ton of metal sculptures through out the city.…
My husband and our sons went to Attica to play at the Badlands.I came across this B&B and thought we could give it a try since it was only 7Mins from the Badlands. I am SO HAPPY we did it, the rooms are beautiful and I can not say enough about the property Manager Mike. Mike went above & beyond to make sure my family was taken care of and happy. We will continue to stay there anytime we go to Attica. Thank you for knowing what customer service is all about. Your place is THE BEST!!!
Nestled into the entry of Attica’s Honeymoon Hill is the McDonald B&B. A stunning, restored home built by Attica pioneer, James McDonald. Now having been restored to its former grandeur, you can experience this incredible three story home on its one acre city lot set atop a majestic hill. It’s truly a one of a kind stop for the discerning traveler or a lovely delight for your anniversary or birthday!
