Stayed for 3 nights/4 days to visit family in Broome. Rooms I had (ground floor in newer building section) while a little basic looking from outside was clean, modern and comfortable inside. Good beds and sheett/pillows. Bathroom clean/modern, Shower was good and everything worked. Air con was welcome at this humid time of year. Had brekky (Bacon/Eggs) each day at the restaurant and dinner (Barramundi) one night and service was quick and meals generous size, tasty and fresh. Priced OK. Not super close to everything but only a two minute walk to Matso's brewery across the park opposite, 5 minutes to the Mangrove (Bay Club - great views of Roebuck bay) and about a 10 minute walk to town. But bus stop etc near by also. Worked well for me. Ocean glimpses of Roebuck bay from my room too. Was very quiet weekend not many guests around this time of year - but the facilities and grounds looks great and the large pools most welcoming and the staff provided excellent service every day. Recently renovated and re-opened and noticed some minor works still being done around the place to spruce up some more. Bottle shop is handy too! Likely to come back with the family for a chill out week by the pool. Has pretty much everything you need on location for a much more reasonable price than those on Cable beach (Some bikes to hire would be handy for guests...hint hint)…
