What a wonderful place to find in the outback. The staff were so helpful, the accommodation great and the food delicious! It was a real treat to be able to swim in Camp Creek - a really special experience.

About as remote as you can get, this amazing place is simply sensational! Owned by tour operator Outback Spirit and perhaps available only to the company's travellers (which we were) the standards achieved here were exceptional. Set in an unspoiled bush environment with a delightful swimming hole, great efforts have been made to ensure that the resort fits into and complements the wilderness which surrounds it. The luxury accommodation in "glamping" tents was roomy and very comfortable with top quality furnishings, linen, facilities and seating, a large en suite bathroom with quality toiletries, plus a wonderful verandah with sofas and chairs. The dining and indoor areas were spacious, comfortably furnished and very well appointed and the large outdoor terrace with plenty of sofas was a superb spot to relax. An adjoining fire pit with seats for all surrounding it was a great way to start dinner, with delicious canapés served. The food was superb as well!! The friendly chef perfectly cooked wonderful barramundi in paperbark and on our second night huge juicy steaks on the fire and they were accompanied by delicious salads and vegetables and followed by a yummy dessert. And at breakfast, there was plenty of choice including a hot breakfast cooked to order. A good range of drinks was avaiiable at a price which we thought very reasonable having regard to the location and tea and coffee were readily available. To top off the experience, the staff were exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming, their service was exemplary - attentive, understated and right on the ball. Outback Spirit and its staff are to be congratulated for achieving such exceptional standards in such a remote location. .…
