Hi I want to come here in May! Is it ok with two teenagers as I don’t want it being peak season with drunken groups!
How far is the restaurants and bars and is the old town better to go to the new? Thanks
The old town is a 5/10 minute stroll away, I highly recommend the Totto Lotto restaurant, I have been to Malia 5 times and eaten there at least 5 times on each visit, Katherine or George will direct you but you literally walk out of the hotel turn right and walk down the hill, before you reach the main road there’s a turning on your left by a little stone building which takes you into old town Malia and the restaurants are along there.
You will be fine there in May no problem Ask in the Kristalli for the restaurants in the Old Town San Giorgio is our favourite Restaurant
Hi.Been towards end of May and had lovely weather. Plenty of nice restaraunts in old town. The Red Lion close to the beach has sport on, and a pool table for your teenagers. Enjoy
We took our 19 & 22 year old daughters with us and there are plenty of bars they can visit within the area of Kristalli as you are right by the old town, the nightclubs etc are right in the centre of Malia, we did go down the strip as they call it but my two preferred the old town area.
Yes, I think that May would be perfect, not too busy.
The bars and restaurants in the old town are within easy walking distance. The old town is lovely, narrow interconnecting streets with a mixture of restaurants, bars, houses and two or three churches.
The nightlife is more or less confined to one long road, known as “the strip”, which is quiet during the daytime and far enough away not to be bothered by any noise at night.
