Hi there, would love your input on what seems to be a gorgeous house in this region I know nothing about. We'll be travelling to Portugal in September of this year and I'm looking at accommodation on our way north to Spain. We'll have a hire car but one of my queries is the size of the village where this home is located. It seems like many folk enjoy the walks in the area but does the village have anything to offer? Is Braganca close enough...easy drive...to cater for those of us who may like the history, cafes, walks, restaurants etc. in other words, how remote is this little slice of heaven and is it worth making it a base for a couple of nights.
