Greener pastures

Greenfield Beach is another Jervis Bay gem. All the qualities that makes JB such a magical place are present here: the soft, white sand, crystal clear water, views across the bay and, looking back, to the forest surrounding the beach. There is even a good chance you will see spotting dolphins cavorting just offshore. And of course, its a lovely place to take a dip. There is a picnic area and a carpark that tends to fill fairly quickly, especially in peak season. We preferred to approach the beach via the White Sands Track, which was a very nice way to arrive (with some terrific bay views along the way). Not quite our favourite beach here - that was Blenheim. But there wasn't much in it.

Wonderful beach

Surrounded by dense bush and gigantic blackbutts, this is a wonderful beach adjoining a delightful picnic area with barbeques and a large parking area. The beach is gently shelving, with bright white sand and incredibly clean water and is half way along the very pleasant White Sands Walk. A great spot to veg out on a beach holiday and never many people to share the beach with.

Gorgeous beach

Brilliant beach. Short walk from carpark. Clean and nice white sand. Water crystal clear. Nice waves. Shower at picnic area. Toilets and picnic tables available. Great place to visit

Another beautiful beach

You can keep your BONDI beach with its posers. These beaches along this strip are amazing. Clean, white sands, clear waters. Paradise!!

Idyllic Greenfield Beach

Love this beach. It is a beautiful part of the world and the water is clear, clean and peaceful. Fortunately we have been there when it hasn’t been overly crowded which has been great.

Stunning beach

This is by far my favourite beach I have ever been to the scenery is amazing and there is a beautiful walking track which leads to Hyams beach. It is a lovely beach to bring your family to and the water is crystal clear. There are rocks where you can swim to and snorkel and see amazing coral and fish I definitely recommend this beach if you are visiting Vincentia. 10/10

Another stunning NSW south coast beach

We walked to Greenfield Beach from Chinamens Beach, a wonderful well defined path through bushland with great coastal and water views. Facilities at Greenfield are well maintained, toilets and picnic area. The beach, mid week in November, is uncrowded, water is clear, sand is clean and plentiful, as was available parking. A beautiful part of NSW south coast.

Don't go in summer...

I would agree with the reviewer who said it was a great beach to be alone on, in July/mid-winter! However, in the summer it is now incredibly busy since they started limiting visitors to Hyams Beach. The car park is a good size but people still end up parking all the way up both sides of the access road, onto Elizabeth Drive and Frederick St, making it very difficult to access, and also up the back track which is authorised vehicles only and residents use this for access. There also seem to be some visitors spoiling it for others by camping here and leaving their rubbish behind. There are no bins and you need to take your rubbish with you. The beach itself is lovely but is now becoming spoilt by overcrowding whereas Blenheim, Nelsons and Barfleur beach are just as lovely but don't seem to have been discovered by tourists yet. If you want a beach that is safe for kids swimming I would recommend Barfleur as Greenfields can be rough.

Near perfect beach

White sands that lead down to the crystal clear calm waters that are just perfect for swimming. The bay is ringed with big trees giving shade for those that want it. With a picnic area at the top. The car park is small, but this keeps the crowds away from filling the beach. No dogs.
