Wah Kaba Waterfall is probably worth visiting at the peak of the Rainy Season- July to September. It was barely a waterfall in November; just a small stream. I have stronger water pressure from my shower at home!

We saw these falls from the Umstew view point which is just a bit further down the road from its entrance. The viewpoint has an entry charge of ₹20 per head but you can see the falls very closely from here. In fact we could see three different falls from the point. Also this was a better way to see the falls rather than trekking through a lot of steps at the entry of the falls.

Wah Kaba Falls – I was here on April 10, 2022 and the experience was incredible and unforgettable. Of course, because it makes you feel closer to nature and the weather was breathe taking. When I say breathe taking, I literally mean it, because to look at the falls you have to climb back and forth 400 steps. It was exhausting but at the same time unbelievably beautiful. The weather was spectacular which made the experience even more awesome.
My recommendation would be to visit this place when you go to Cherrapunji and experience the beauty of North Eastern India.

We almost missed these falls, but they really are a must see. They look as if set in the Grand Canyon, USA!

Viewed the waterfall from the view point towards Sohra instead of climbing down to the head of the falls. It was a thin stream by early Nov, so not much of a sight at this time.

Amazing and a huge natural spring in Meghalaya...there is a small but nice viewing point to see this beauty...entry fee to the viewing area is Rs. 10...highly recommended...

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Sohra. Wakaba Falls is a two-tiered waterfall perched atop about 600 feet. The water streams through a densely forested hill , and then plunges down a canyon straight into a deep gorge. The musical roar of the cascading falls can be heard from far off, while the silvery waters of the tiered plunge look like a glistening ribbon amidst lush greenery.
While the waterfall can be visited throughout the year, monsoon adds a new life to the place, and the waters creates white foam amidst the rising mist. The other side of the falls provides a panoramic view of the surrounding beauty.
It is truly one of the most adventurous places to visit in Sohra.

Waterfall was not active when we visited the fall. It is best to visit after monsoon when waterfall is active. Valley view is beautiful.

Visit only rainy season, otherwise very little water. Also, the day was cloudy, so we were not able to get clear view.

There weren't any crowd so we enjoyed walking on the trail but it was quite confusing without any signage to reach the view point of waterfall. The waterfall was very thin as compared to some mammoth falls of Meghalaya. This may be skipped which will save on hour of yours for other exciting sights of Meghalaya.
