I visited from Thane with relatives came from Lucknow. We took local train from Thane to Titwala station.
From there auto rickshaw to Mandir, they charge Rs.10 per person for Mandir.
This is very old & famous Ganesh mandir, I visit quite frequently.
Many people believe is siddh Mandir.

Very Auspicious temple. One must do visit for seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha. 10-15 mins far from Titwala station via Rickshaw or Tonga. Lot of modifications in the surrounding of the temple for the benefit of the bhakts has made this place really beautiful. Tuesday’s and Chaturthi’s have lot of crowd so be early for the best darshan of the Lord Ganesha.

I had gone there many times for Darshan, special corporate pooja, pad yatra (walking journey to the shrine from Shahad.)
This time I went with my Bal Sanskar children for darshan..
There I came to know to quench their question how old is the Titwala shrine..??
It is said that it was built by Shankutala (mother of emperor Bharat).. and later it got buried in land..
And later in 1865 or something a peshwa dug a lake to solve drought problem in his town.. there this temple was found and rebuilt then..
Its a MahaGanpati Temple , situated in Titwala , Kalyan, Thana district.
May lord Ganesh fulfill all your wishes..
Darshan is available 5 am to 1 pm
Reopens at 2 pm to 6 pm
Closed for 6 pm to 6 45 pm
Reopens at 6.45 pm to 11pm ..
All day..
There is likely to habe more crowd and rush on Tuesdays, sankat chaturthi and on Ganesh Chaturthi days..
Be careful of pick pocketers..
Prasad and garlend, Durva is available at the shrine as there are many shops in front of the shrine door..

I love to go there because I get great peace of mind and happiness by Ganpati Bappa's mere darshan. We also get to offer our puja peacefully and can attend the aarti near the idol. The pujaris and security guards are polite and dutiful.

We traveled from Thane to Titwala by car, about 1 hr 20 minutes, we didn't take any break. It was on a Sunday , very smooth drive, no traffic jam. The temple is worth visiting from historical, cultural point of view. It is well maintained , the ambiance is superb. You should spend minimum a half day if not full day, it is worth that much.

If Shreerang Society is in Titwala, Then it would be hardly a 1-2 km away from the temple.
