Amazing secluded little beach off the beaten path. You can do a short hike thru a wooded path or you can walk down from the parking lot to playa Danta and then cross the rocks to your right to find a little slice of heaven. We were one of three groups there. Found a nice shady spot amidst the trees to hang our towels. The water was crystal clear, Rocky at first when you are walking in but then Sandy. Well Worth the trek we took over the rocks! Hope this place remains unspoiled.

This is a nice beach and often less crowded than Playa Danta at the foot of Las Catalinas. It is not as good for snorkeling and not any better than Playa Danta, but a good option to try and to get away from the main crowds.
You can walk to Playa Dantita from Las Catalinas the hard way or the easy way. The hard way is not that hard, but the path has some elevations and a moderate difficulty hike. The easy way is to follow the cost line along the rocks which only requires a little balance.

Superbe plage. Très tranquille. Eau chaude et turquoise. Gardez le secret ! Belle baignade. Je recommande cet endroit.

This beach was awesome a few years ago, we came back to see it again, and we're absolutely disgusted by the building being built at Las Catalinas. Other than that the beach is nice, but could do without the jungle being cut down for a parking lot.

The beach is nice with white sand and quiet.
Not so much people are coming from playa Danta despite it is easy when the tide is low, you have just to walk along the sea for 20mn.
There are some trees that deliver shadow.
There is no restaurant or bar on the beach, so you have to bring some water.
It is pleasent to swim in the water. We tried snorkeling, we have seen some fishs near the rocks and large rays on the sand, but the water is not very transparent.
The parking near Danta is private; they have pass for the day, 8 dollars if I remember well.

La playa es como de 300 mts de diámetro
Sumamente limpia, con agua cristalina
La tracción del mar es un poco fuerte, se debe tener cuidado con eso y con las piedas en el fondo que no se ver

Es una playa de agua muy limpia, cristalina. No tiene oleaje por lo que es ideal para familias con peques o mascotas. Muchas sombras. Es pequeña, por lo que se recomienda visitar en temporada baja o dÃas no festivos.

Excelente lugar la mejor playa de tranquilidad en Costa Rica y bella por si sola, es una obligación visitarla

Decepción en esta playa, visto otras como las de Brasilito y Flamingo. Playa muy sucia con mucho plástico y arena sucia, no pudimos entrar al agua , mucha

I spent a lot of time snorkeling and visiting with the fish. As far as snorkeling goes it was pretty good. I also hiked a short loop from the beach which had some really good views. We didn’t want to leave, as the sun set behind the rocks my kids just played and played as my wife and I sat under the shade of the trees hanging out over the sand. We hiked in on the trail and hiked out on the rocks. Highly recommend. If you can walk up a decent but short hill you can manage the hike. Our 7 and 9 yr old made the hike no problem.
