It is a fantastic walk (one of my favourites) that is full of variety. I started at Flynns Road in lush forrest which quickly began to climb towards the elevated views and mountain climbing beside Pinnacle Hut. The hut is cosy and nice. The next day I continued to Woolshed Creek and took a detour off the main track from the ridge to climb Mount Summers. The view was spectacular and there was even a goat to see part way up. On the way down I took another detour to check out the water caves. It is a series of boulders that have fallen and built up around a stream that make for a lot of fun bouldering and exploring the pools. The Woolshed Creek hut is very nice but I recommend ear pugs (as with any hut) and the next day walked out to Jig Road. 5/5

Amazing track in a beautiful part of the world. We walked into the Woolshed Creek hut and were faced with snowy/icy conditions, but the walk was still very manageable. Great hut with good facilities.

Easy hike into the hut, plenty to see along the way. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. Hut is great, water, toilets, fire, a lot of wilderness magazines!! "Bus stop" sign if you come/go via Ryolite.

Day 1 - We started off from the Sharplin falls car park heading to Pinnacles Hut. The track was pretty much steep (up/down) and narrow the majority of the way (also wet and muddy). There were some very slippery areas and we had to cross a number of streams. This track was a lot more difficult and took us 5 hours to complete! We later found out that there were Warning signs posted at the Woolshed Hug car park advising that this part of the track had slips and was potentially dangerous but there were not these signs at the place we started.
Pinnacles Hut is small but tidy and comfortable. There were 5 of us staying at the hut that particular night.
Next morning (Friday) we headed off to Woolshed Hut expecting another grueling day... thankfully, this part of the track is more gradual and above the tree line so offered great views. With stops we completed this part of the track in 4 hours. Woolshed Hut is spacious and has two bunk rooms, 11 of us stayed there that night.
Day 3 was to Woolshed Hut carpark. Mainly downhill and so completed it in 1.5hrs. Would recommend the track between Pinnacles Hut and Woolshed Hut carpark for families or those that just want an enjoyable walk. The track from Pinnacles Hut to Sharplin Falls capark is another level!!
