We have had a xmas function here for two years running, and it's a fantastic venue for around 50 people. Private function space is available upstairs, divided into two sections, one area with the bar and standing room, and the other with more seated areas (bathrooms are in between, two per binary). Finger food served was fantastic (peking duck rolls were a highlight), and good amount of bar staff for service. Located within meters of exiting East Richmond station.

Do not ever go with the drinks package . Always opt for bar package. We went with the drinks package and they refuse to serve drinks to guests unless they were 20 minutes after the drink they had ordered. This was not mentioned anywhere when we booked this package
Also although I asked for a start time of 8:00 p.m for the drinks package, most of my friends came by 7:30 - however, they refused to accommodate starting 15 minutes earlier and finishing 15 minutes earlier i.e 10:45.. so we just had to wait around until 8:00 p.m
Would not recommend this place for a celebration. Staff not accommodating on the day at all

We apologise that your 50th birthday party did not live up to your expectations.
When a beverage package is requested an to start earlier than planned, we can accomodate this but the finishing time must reflect the change. Our staff believed you were requesting an earlier start time, and were not open to an earlier finish time. This would have been outside the terms and conditions of the beverage package you selected.
Our staff are also trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines regulated by state law. Our staff were adhering to this policy when delaying service to a small number of your guests.

Stopped by Friday after work for a couple of drinks with a friend and it was the best spot - enough space, could hear each other and the staff were friendly! Absolutely recommend.

Had a great day with friends. Alex and Tayla were great, informative and entertaining lesson enjoyed by all. Afterwards so many great cocktails but my pick was the Fox Ale.

Rather pleasant place to relax. Not a large bar, but still has some charm. Has some decent beers available as well.

Came here for a few quiet drinks before heading out. great selection on spirits, particularly whisky. Great staff and lots of decent cocktails.

one of my favourites when I lived in richmond as it was within staggering distance of my apartment. great modern decor. love the booths. the place is a fun place to hang out. can get very busy so get in early to snag a booth or ring ahead

This is a great small bar. For me this is everything I want in a bar; nice dim lighting, excellent happy hour, on the quiet side so you can have a conversation, great cocktail list and attentive staff
I have been many times and they are very good at accommodating groups. Just call ahead and they will reserve a booth for you even on a Friday night. (They also have the football on the tv for those that are sports mad but the sound isn't on so it doesn't ruin the atmosphere)

An interesting place that I haven't been to before. The function rooms upstairs overlook the train station. It was well run by the staff who looked after each visitor well.
