Lots of trees and shade

This Tri-Centennial Park is right next to the Albuquerque Museum. The is a playground, basketball court as well as workout equipment. In the evenings you will see many families and lots of dogs. It is a nice place to walk in the heat when you need some shade. It is small, but there is a number of winding paths.

A Small and Very Attractive Park For Walking

My wife and I really enjoy walking and we we glad to discover a little gem like this so close to Old Town. It looks as if it is treasured by the community.

Lovely City Park

A nice park in Old Town. When we were there there was a musician entertaining those in the area. Others were there hanging out and cooking. A pleasant place to hang out.

Good park in Old Town

Tiguex Park in Old Town Albuquerque is located next to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and the Albuquerque Museum. It is a very large park that provides green space, exercise theme, basketball courts and outdoor plaza. It is also known as the Tricentenial Park and Time Capsule Park. Nice space to get away from all this busy and commercial old town.

Really nice city park in Old Twon

Tiguex Park is the city's Tricentennial Park. It is nice size space with a walking/biking path on the perimeter. It has a great playground area and lots of lawn and shade trees for picnics and relaxing.

Nice park with lush grass and exercise themes

This is a very nice park for a lazy sunny day. Offers exercising stations, a walk path soccer sized field. Has room for hobbyist UAV flying. Watch out for some of the dog activity though. They do have plastic bags available but the human owners are a little careless

Enjoyable and clean

We stopped here on our drive from Phoenix to Colorado Springs to let our kids and dog stretch. There are comfortable picnic tables that we were able to make sandwiches at and have lunch. There are exercise machines around the perimeter of the park for older kids and adults, a large swing set, a toddler play area and a general play ground. The park also has basketball courts and soccer goals (although no nets, possibly because of it being winter). Tons of trees and space to play, with lots of benches with great views of the park. The only downside is that we were unable to find a public bathroom while we were here.

Nice Place to Relax, Play, Read, Take a Stroll

This is a nice little park. There are plenty of shade trees. There are swings for the kids. There are fun fitness stations. They are benches and places to picnic. Although I love this park, today there was as surplus of fresh garbage spread out all over the place. I do not faulty the city parks service. People can be careless pigs. Although there are plenty of available trash cans to utilize, I'm sure trash clean up is a never ending job.

What an incredibly well upkept and beautiful park! This park is a great place to have a picnic, go for a walk, and just relax in the sun! It's also very close to a few of the museums as well.

Something for Everyone

Tiguex Park is located near Old Town, 3 Museums and the Sawmill neighborhood. The expansive grassy areas are used for a multitude of organized events as well as just running around or flying a kite. The large playground has all the equipment kids need for fun and the exercise equipment will keep adults in shape. There are picnic tables and benches which are rarely empty. This is a gathering place for families and friends and the convenient location offers many options in how one will spend their time. Have fun.
