Ero a New York per un paio di giorni e ho deciso di andare a vedere uno spettacolo a Broadway. Alla fine ho visto “A qualcuno piace caldo”. " Bello spettacolo! Il teatro è un po' più antico rispetto ad altri teatri, ma mi è piaciuto molto. L'unico lato negativo era lo spazio per le gambe quando ti siedi sui sedili. Può essere un po' angusto per le persone alte. Oltre a quello… … . . Ho avuto un'esperienza fantastica e non mi dispiacerebbe tornare in questo teatro per vedere un altro spettacolo! ! ! ????

On Broadway!!!!!!

I was in NYC for a couple days and decided to go see a show on Broadway. Ended up seeing “Some Like It Hot.” Great show! The theater is a little older feeling than other theaters, but I sordof liked that. The only downside was the leg room when your sitting down in the seats. Can be a little cramped for tall people. Other than that…….. I had a great experience and would not mind coming back to this theater to see another show!!! 🗽🎭🎟️🎶

Beautiful classic Broadway Theater on 44th. Lighting and fixtures as well as the stage area. Classic in so many ways. Loved it.

Lovely performance, shame same can’t be said of theater.

Trying to be positive, this is a review of the theater, not the show. The theater is old, small and cramped. The performance was great and made you overlook the theater. Myself 6 foot and gf 5’8 both cramped and uncomfortable.

Caught a show here and it was awesome. Enjoyed experiencing the theater itself as much as the show. Well maintained and preserved while offering modern expectations.

Absolutely beautiful theater. Built in the Time Square - Broadway district.

Great views of the stage and staff was so accommodating.

Saw “ some like it hot “ and Cast was amazing. Fun show, tap dancing great and very tight.

Beautiful interior of the theatre. Perfect acoustics. And performance "Someone likes it hot" was amazing. It is not very hot inside, so a sweater is fine.

Classic theater, cramped seats with no leg space.

Classic old theater I first went here to see Chorus Line back in ’77 and have been back several times. That said, the seats are cramped with no leg space. Glad I got a box seat the time for the space but it’s a (very) partial view for which you still pay top dollar.

One of the old-timers

and it is beginning to show. I know it has the classic look but it, as well as several other theaters, need to modernize. The sound system was poor and it definitely affected the performance, IMO, as the sound was uneven and at times muffled. With all the new advances in theater entertainment they need to at least modernize the performance media. The seats and facility itself can stay the same but upgrade the manner in which a performance is manifested. There is no reason they can't share the old and new to create a great environment. While I love the theater, I think theaters, in general, need to get with the times (while retaining their old charm)

Total Unexpected Surprise!

I was recently in NYC in with two girl friends. We found ourselves at loose ends. What to do on a Saturday afternoon?

A fellow TA'er recommended the preview of SOME LIKE IT HOT!

I was able to snag three tickets in the balcony. We went in with no expectations.

We were blown away! The show was high energy, funny, and offered an unexpected twist at the end, that kept us enthralled for the entire performance.

It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in NYC!

WTF. How much for wine???

Nice theater. Expected no leg room based on reviews. We got 1/2 price tickets at TKTS. Seats were fabulous! Giving 3 stars based on drink purchase. More expensive than one ticket!! Seriously, $88 for less than a bottle of wine. Shame on you!! We saw POTUS. Terrible! Not the theater’s fault. Would go again but no drinks!!!
