ifly canceled my reservation because the tunnel will be closed on that date due to military personnel training and they refused to give me a refund. They gave me a gift card, which was $3 less than what I paid, telling me that there was a transaction fee. They should have given me a refund when I asked for it. They have a 48 hours cancellation policy, they canceled my flight a week before my reservation date and they refused to give me a refund.

My last visit to IFLY in Mission Valley in San Diego disappointed me because I felt insecure and unsafe during the flight, like a falling plane. I already had experience with IFLY and knew how to feel secure while "really good" high-fly.
On 08/26/2023, during my high flight, my body was bending because the coach and I were at different levels of moving, and he was flying below my level and pulled my body to the inside of the circle. Relying on that fact, my body was not straight, but an arc and created centrifuge force. That situation was frightening for me. I think it happened because the airflow capacity was different in the tube. I am an engineer and can realize it. I have the photos to prove my situation during fly. There is one weird thing - the crew did not put a video record of my high fly on the site. Why?
I talked with the manager about my dissatisfaction with the flight. However, he said that it was an ordinary situation, nothing bad. My opinion is the opposite.

60th Birthday surprise for my partner. He is afraid of heights so the next best option was indoor skydiving. What a blast. We had an awesome time and even did two extra flights. This was awesome and is a must if in San Diego.

Will overcharge you every chance they get and terrible customer service! We first went a couple weeks ago as a single flyer for my mother's birthday. She had a great time, but when they asked her if she wanted to go higher while she was in the wind tunnel she said yes, not realizing there was an extra charge. Ok, so I let that one "fly". Bought a pass for 10 return flights for the advertised $229 price so I could split between 5 people (not the lower price for only 2 people). total was over $300 for that, but I thought that included my mothers flight, never checking my card that they actually had already charged me days prior for my moms flight. Fast forward and get there with my 4 other friends after calling to book for FIVE people and rudely am told by front that I bought the $149 package for only 2 people. Without making any effort to look it up, Amanda asked me to go find my voucher, which I did, and she still says I bought the $149. Then I have to find my receipt for over $300 and then she decides she will check the system for me, and surprise, they charged me $299 for the $229 package. Then Im told we can give you a credit for the difference, for high flights- fine, at least I wont be surprised at the end with extra charges. What would have been appropriate is to apologize, refund me the difference to my card, and offer a small compensation for their error (ie. a free $20 high flight)- this was not done. For as much as I spent there I would expect nicer front desk people and some effort on their part to listen to the customer! On top of that, had to spend twice a long there while we let the professional skydivers take turns between our group participants, not cool. Despite having fun and a great flight instructor on the 2nd group flight, I will not be returning.

It was a unique experience flying in this state of the art wind tunnel. The professional instructors there make the activity safe and comfortable even for first-timers.
My son and daughter in law had done this before but my wife and I were first timers. We took three flights of two minutes each, Ryan (hope I have his his name right) was our instructor and he sure did a professional job. He was patient, enthusiastic, encouraging and calming and made us enjoy our first time experience. He did not rush us and was genuinely excited to teach and help us improve.
His session with my son (who has many hours of flying experience) enlightened us on how much individuals can do in a wind channel. Their four sessions were great to watch.
After our flights he took time to discuss our flights with us and pointed out areas for improvement.
The entire staff was full of smiles and welcoming and we had a very good time there. This was probably the highlight of my Los Angeles visit.

I booked 3 flights for my children ages 6, 8 and 10. They were beyond excited but we showed up 12:33 for a 12:30 reservation and the manager didn’t let us in. TERRIBLE SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE AND CLIENT RELATIONS. I spent $300 dollars and they offered no refund option for not taking us in. Not worth the money and the stress. Mission Valley, please fire your manager and look for someone nicer.

We really enjoyed the flight! But we didn’t like that our event (a present for a child’s birthday) was delayed for 30 minutes, because another visitor was invited and he began to train at the exact time that we reserved for us

נהננו מאוד! חווייתי. דומה ל flybox שיש בארץ, מחיר זהה, מעט פחות אבל מקצועי הרבה יותר. צוות אדיב ונחמד מאוד. הילדים נהנו מאוד!

My husband, teenage son, teenage daughter, and I visited on a recent trip to San Diego. It was an impromptu visit, which I booked late the evening before to surprise the kids. Online booking was easy, and the location was down the street from our hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the activity was a blast! My daughter was nervous at first and skipped her first flight, but stepped up and completed the second flight. The staff allowed my son to do the flight that my daughter skipped, which they didn’t have to do so I was impressed with the customer service. Definitely order the video - you will receive a link in your email, and can take screenshots if you want still photos. We will definitely do this again!

Sin duda una experiencia para no dejar pasar si estás cerca....Es totalmente segura, los instructores son expertos y realmente lo disfrutas. No es complicado, siempre y cuando sigas las indicaciones. Vale la pena pagar el high fly al final de la sesión. También vale la pena pagar el paquete de 4 vuelos, 2 son muy pocos! MINIMO 4!!! cada vuelo es de 1 minuto, pero terminas cansado por la postura, se requiere un pequeño descanso para entrar de nuevo al tunel. SIN DUDA REGRESARÉ!!!

Is two times enough or is it better to do three times. It’s for three kids 2 - 11 year olds and 1 - 17. I gather it’s just 1 minute correct. But don’t want to pay for extra if chance kids will feel sick. But wondering if 2 is enough

It really depends on how the kids do. It is fun, but it gets tiring if they have never done it. I would suggest that you do a package and the time can be shared however you want between the group. So if one kid gets too tired, the other can take his place. My son and I shared a 10 minute package, and I was tired so I gave him my last minutes.
The time can be broken up in several ways. You can decide while you are there.
As far as sick, if they ride amusement rides or roller-coasters, they will be fine.

Absolutely! It's a great place. The "tunnel" is in the middle of a big "waiting" and watch room. There are restrooms and a vending machine. You can take lots of pics and video too!
