Picturesque, easy hike with no crowds!

Easy, short (just over 1 mile) hike along the cliffs that afford gorgeous views. Beside spectacular ocean scenery, I was surprised at how green the rest of the landscape was. We were the only ones hiking during our Wednesday visit at mid-morning. The drive heading north on Rt 30 was also not crowded and very scenic.

Wonderful experience

Despite the strong wind and rain showers we had a great time on this easy, well maintained trail thru dense vegetation and lava rocks with views up and down the coast.

Notvas scenic as it could have been

. We took this loop and it had some good overlooks, but whats with the trash? This was more than a weeks worth. There must be centers where the used refrigerators can go? Two overlooks had dead animals tossed in them. Really? I didnt take too many pics, not exactly scenic unless you can zoom out the trash

Gorgeous trail with lovely ocean views throughout

We did notice quite a bit of broken glass in the parking lot, so seems to be a targeted area for car break ins. Make sure any valuable items are either on you or out of sight. Took about 1.5 hours with small children to complete.

Great short hike!

Great short hike with amazing views. Enjoyed the drive on this side of Maui. Fewer people and cars than on the Road to Hana.

We absolutely love this loop trail. It is much prettier if you do the loop counter clockwise than if you do it clockwise.

Great easy trail, amazing views

We did this trail after doing the Nakalele blowhole - it's a few miles farther than the blowhole (before mile marker 41) - it's a small parking lot and then there are trailhead/signage once you get out of your car and onto the trail. It's an easy to follow loop with amazing views and lookout points. Was much easier if a trail than the blowhole (which is a lot of climbing/more strenuous). This path was easy to follow, some uphill but not too much. We had an 11/13 year old and they liked it, but the adults enjoyed it more for the views. Would definitely recommend - took us maybe 45 minutes and we took our time (stopped for a lot of pictures)

Wow! Must hike this!

After doing some research, we sought out this trail because of reviews. It is located around mile marker 41- there is no sign on the road but the parking lot is pretty distinct and you cannot miss it if you are looking for it. Amazing views and a good family hike- just enough distance and terrain to make it interesting. Yet, not strenuous or long for younger kids and grandparents. Unforgettable views!

Out of this world!

This was such a neat trail! The views were like we were in Ireland. Except instead of grass, the rolling green was shrubbery. When you're close to the coast, the foliage changes every few 100 meters. It was so awesome. And an easy trail, our kiddos (11 and 13) had no issues and really enjoyed it as well!
