I love historical villages - there is so much to see. This one includes several buildings, and some of them you can get inside and take in the way of life of the folks who came before us. I will upload bunch of photos, so you can see for yourself.

Clothes and books are .25 cents. What deal. Board games a $1. You never know what treasures you will find. Upstairs has holiday to unusual to hard to find items. Worth a weekly trip

I loved this place because the grounds are open all the time and they are adjacent to the AmericInn. When a travel with my dog, I can stay at the motel next door and walk the Heritage grounds. The old farm buildings represent the homestead, schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, and a huge barn which serves as a thrift store on Saturdays. There are 11 acres of walking paths to explore.

Great fun place, first there's a huge barn used as a thift batn, hundreds of items, u name it, they have it. Upstairs and down stairs full

still off season, so no docents for tours, but the lady from the office took us through the buildings on a very chilly, rainy day. I hope local residents realize what a treasure they have!

The last weekend of September is Heritage days. All the buildings are open for touring along with all kinds of activities. There is also a great rummage sale or flea market that usually goes on during the weekends in spring, summer, and fall. Worth a visit

I was here to photograph a wedding and it was so neat! The old buildings had so much character, and the lawns were well maintained. I very much enjoyed looking at the buildings, though only the church and pavilion were open for the day for wedding use. But it was quaint and cozy. However, the outsides of the structures were super cool! Like walking back in time.

Saturdays are great days to drive to New Richmond and visit the BARN for their weekly (spring, summer, fall) sales! Many local New Richmond residents donate used clothing, household, books and MORE to the Heritage Center, where in turn the donations are sold to help keep the Heritage Center running. The old village is worth a walk-through. While in town also visit the many vintage stores that have opened too. Certainly worth a drive to our great city!
