There was no one there to narrate what we were looking at. A lot of the rooms were roped off because of restoration going on. You can have a better tour on line and it won’t cost you anything.

Great! My husband was a boater (fast attack) during Vietnam. So he was excited to see a WWII sub (OK,so was I). It was great to be able to walk through both vessels. They both take you back to the 1940s.

Our visit to the naval museum was fantastic! I liked the self-guided tour through the ship and the sub. So much history. I highly recommend this museum experience.

Super cool! I love history so I love things like this. The staff they had there were very nice. The restrooms they had on site were nicer than some hotel restrooms. Special shout out to the lady who worked there who was with her nephews and let me see inside the telescope!
If you don’t like small spaces this is not for you. It’s also so humid so dress appropriately

had to pay 6.00 to park even though we only was there to tour the submarine and ship. Since we could only tour the submarine we were only charged a child’s price. We only got to tour the submarine because a new radar was being installed on the battleship.

Love the self guided tour of the submarine and battleship. Got a ticket off Groupon that made taking my wife and 5 teens very reasonable. The teens even enjoyed walking through each vessel. Took lots of pictures and was often left wondering how 60 soldiers could live in such a small place underwater. Very cool.

Very informative and we learned a lot. Some information signs were faded out and hard to read. Clean and directions were a big help during walk through. Didn't like the parking fee, felt like the park guest should be charged but not for this event.

My Navy veteran husband and I visited the Museum on Memorial Day. Lots of nice ceremonies. Well-planned grounds. We especially enjoyed the WWII submarine (my husband was a submariner) and the memorial plaques and information about WWII submarines.

Submarine is air-conditioned last time I went there it was not That I remember. The naval Museum is really just The submarine in the battleship. I always liked sing me From the ferry when I would go to Galveston as a kid and this is the second time I've been through.
I even found discount tickets online you still have to pay separate parking, But you can go and see these Ships for Little cost and everyone should. You can walk from 1 end of the submarine to the other I crawling down the hatches They have displays but They allow you to Get right in most places and Not just rush through. Note that you will have to Hold your own wait coming in and out of the submarine and up the battleship and up any stairs The different levels of the battleship and there's several levels that you can go on up and down on inside and on the outside of the boat.

The workers were excellent. Very courteous and gracious. The museum opened our eyes immensely. We were so proud of their service during WWII. It was beautiful and In formative. We were so proud to get the privilege of visiting this beautiful park. If you ever get a chance, take a picnic lunch and enjoy the history, and have a picnic lunch in the beautiful park.
