Convention center was one of the better ones in the country. There was a large number of meeting spaces and the everything was clean.

Big Meeting Place

This is a big convention center, downtown, with lots of hotels all around. It is big and can accommodate big meetings. No special design features.

One of the largest convention centers in the world

My wife, daughter, two friends and I visited the Dallas Convention Center several times during our visit to Dallas in May 2022. Known as the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, the Convention Center is huge - maybe one of the largest in the USA as well as the world. We were there for the Global Robotics Competition. The Convention Center takes up several blocks and has several levels and sections. You can walk over a Sky Bridge from the Omni Hotel into the Convention Center. The Dallas Cattle Drive Sculptures and Pioneer Plaza are near the Convention Center. This is a worthwhile thing to see in Dallas especially if you are attending an event.

El Centro de Convenciones está padrísimo, como nuevo, muy amplio y limpio. Nosotros estamos aquí por la “HAI Heli Expo” y nos gustó muchísimo!!!

Conveniently located near downtown (maybe even considered downtown) the convention center was set up very nicely and easy to get around. And, although it is not necessarily related to the convention center itself, it is also amidst many nice and affordable restaurants and hotels.

Big, Clean and Accommodating

Wonderful venue for our yearly convention. Lots of room, plenty of different sized rooms to meet the needs of all of our classes. The tech staff was extremely efficient. The fire Marshalls were there to assure no rooms were overcrowded. Lots of VERY CLEAN restrooms, wide halls so everyone could get where they needed. Lots of maps giving accurate info as to room locations. I was pleased with this venue!!

We come every year to the DSC Convention, which is very well run thanks to the volunteers. The convention center offers some pretty basic, mediocre food choices like lukewarm BBQue and boring, doughball Pizza, and this time I tried the Chick Filet Limited offerings...it was ok. The best recommendation I can make if you are attending a convention, is to go ahead and purchase the Mug at Pecos Pete’s lemonade stand for the outrageous price of $25- which allows unlimited refills of tea, lemonade, Huckleberry tea, root beer, etc - if you are spending a day at the convention center, this is the best item on offer and well worth it!
