What a beautiful place

We called in on the recommendation of our landlady. It’s a beautiful gallery - open every day and serves free coffee! The lovely lady who was working there gave us insight, local knowledge and advice. Really nice chat and the photography is just beautiful.

Stunning Scottish photography

If you are interested in meeting the photographer, buying an original or framed piece, then it’s definitely worth making the trip to the gallery to choose the piece, the size etc. If you are looking for cards for example, there isn’t much at the gallery that you can’t find elsewhere so it’s possibly not worth the journey for that reason alone although the location and drive there is worth it.

Breathtaking art

The gallery is a joyful experience. The studio is full of beauty and energy and the prints are breathtaking. It was hard to choose but we are thrilled with our snow capped mountains in the clouds. Jack was delightful

A terrific artistic gallery with a warm, Applecross welcome

We thought this was a terrific gallery; stunning photos and many were really nicely framed. The ones of the pass coming from the Kyle of Lochalsh across to Applecross in different weathers were dramatic and reminded me of cycling it 30 years ago on my last visit to the Applecross peninsular. There are terrific wildlife photos as well as scenery and many of the photos are available as greeting cards

Jack - the photographer and gallery owner - was really friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. He is very interested in nature and has been building a hide so that he can get intimate shots of the White-Tailed Eagles that hunt and nest in the vicinity,

Fantastic photos, friendly welcome

Amazing photos taken by the proprietor who was knowledgeable and friendly. He has taken some stunning images and prints and frames them in the studio with help from his assistant.
Well worth a visit.

Very worthwhile visit

Gallery owner told us a lot of interesting information about how he creates his work.
He was knowledgeable about the area and helped us chose a picture to take home as a gift .

Well worth a visit

We found this isolated hut on a walk from Applecross, and were amazed with what we found in it. There is a wide selection of photographic prints of the stunning local scenery, all at very reasonable prices. If you staying in or near Applecross, or just doing the North Coast 500 I strongly recommend a short detour to visit his place. If you cannot take away what you buy yourself, delivery to your home when you get back there can be arranged.
