This theater had nearly fallen to the ground. We went in to buy tickets for a Bluegrass concert. The young gentleman took so much pride in the facility that he offered to show us around. The theater is beautifully redone and has good seating. We enjoyed a concert with two Bluegrass bands, Clearview and Hillbilly Fever. The bands were very good and all of this for $15 per ticket. Just a very cool venue and a staff that is both warm and welcoming.

Benefit Concert

Twice a year there is a benefit to support the Hilltoppers. A organization supporting intellectually challenged individuals. Wonderful venue. The Palace is quaint, comfortable and nostalgic. Always good shows. October's benefit had Jeff Allen. He is the hottest entertainer to see in Crossville. It is worth a stop if there is an event when you visit Crossville TN.

Local Theater

A beautifully restored older theater with tons of local charm. Many local and touring acts perform here regularly. Good seating and sound.

Sears can be reserved ahead. There are @310 seats, including a cozy, "old-time" balcony. The details of the restoration are amazing.

An historic jewel in downtown Crossville.

The Palace Theatre is a well-kept theater in the heart of downtown Crossville. Tennessee. The seats are ample and relatively new, with lots of room for theatergoers to stretch out and relax for the show. Theres a cash-only snack bar serving the usual 'movie snacks' but the prices are reasonable and you won't get skinned like at the movies ! The shows are mostly live performances by local entertainers, putting on concerts, plays and documentaries. Ticket prices rarely exceed $20 which makes this a first-rate night out ! I highly recommend the Palace. You won't be disappointed.

Friday night, May 31st, Thomas Pandolfi, a super talented Pianist, performed again. This is the third year in a row for us. We never want to miss his performance! He is not only a gifted Pianist, he is an awesome entertainer. Go to his website for his amazing Bio! If you have never gone to one of his performances, you are missing out on so much! He will be back here NEXT year, on Friday, June 12, 2020. Tickets not yet available. DON'T MISS THIS!!!

This restored 1939 theater is the center of downtown entertainment. There is a wide variety of entertainment at a reasonable price. Truly a jewel in downtown.

Visiting The Palace...Theater, that is!

Crossville, Tennessee is a special place and offers a lot of special things to do and see. The Palace Theater is one of those places offering a diverse schedule of entertainment. You'll find everything from bluegrass, country, pop to small theater productions. We've seen Bill Anderson, John Conlee, Suzie Boggas and others. The history of the Palace Theater is most interesting. It was opened in 1938 and still has an art deco feel from inside and out of the building. It is now on the National Historic register since 1994. Certainly worth a visit and especially for one of many performances seen and heard there annually.
