Nice but not what was expected. Seating in the front half is essentially flat & seating is very uncomfortable – comparable to a lightly padded folding chair.
Staff – the few we saw – were polite.

We went to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute band and they did an outstanding job. This was my first time in the theatre and the only upgrade I would make next time is to not sit in section A or E- both have a speaker (from the ceiling) that partially blocks your view. Choose section B, C or D

Hubby and I went to see Bush here and the concert was awesome. The theater is old and very interesting to look at inside. We purchased tickets in the seated area, first section of the D seated area. We were pretty close to the stage and ended up standing during the concert. Sound was awesome, we had no trouble seeing the band and stage, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Drink prices were standard. The balcony was closed during this show but it would be neat to go another time and get balcony seats.

The Brady is old and is showing its age. An extensive remodel would do it wonders.
That said, it is rich in history and has great acoustics. I have seen several shows here, from Frank Zappa and Robin Williams in the late '80s, to the Indigo Girls just a few nights ago.
Bar was crowded and drinks were $9 for a small "single" but they were very strong. My sealed bottle of water was confiscated at the door and it cost $5 to purchase an identical replacement.

This historic Tulsa concert venue has fantastic acoustics, and stadium style seating in the balcony. The expensive seating on the floor is all on a flat level. Security is almost non-existent as this place stunk of marijuana soon after the show started. A few random folks were allowed to stand the entire show, so our expensive seats down front provided almost no view of the band. So disappointing. The pot smoke and no view of the stage made this our last trip to Brady Theater! The venues at the Indian Casinos have MUCH better security with NO pot smoking or drunks standing and blocking everyone’ view.

This is a tulsa landmark. The building has been around for quite some time. But if you are going for a show there is really no bad seat in the house as you are fairly close anywhere you sit.

This place has always had the best sound in town. The acoustics are unrivaled by even the larger arena in town that will go unnamed :-)

The Brady Theater is good for a more intimate concert experience. They've removed the first 15 or so rows of floor seats so the area is standing only.

The Brady Theater is an old building that needs updated. The chairs are old and if you are just a little over weight, you will not be able to sit in the chairs. They are old style theater chairs. We originally were sitting on the main floor and it was so hot and stuffy. We went to the box office and asked to be moved and they said the show was sold out. We went upstairs and talked to the usher and the balcony was not even half full so he told us we could sit wherever we would like. It was very hot up there but better than the floor. People were vaping even though this is a nonsmoking theater. A fight broke out several times in the VIP area and security never escorted any one out. Hallways were crowed. Concert was good but I would not come back to this theater to see anyone.

Since I started traveling to Tulsa for business in 2013 I have wanted to see a show at the Brady theater. As luck would have it my favorite blues player, Kenny Wayne Shepherd was at the Brady the night before our conference. This was a "can't miss" opportunity so I headed to Tulsa a day early- I was not disappointed. The theater reminded me of an old western stage show theater similar to an upstate NY venue called the Cohoes music hall. The opening act, Beth Hart, was the perfect act for this smaller venue where there is not a bad seat in the house. KWS band blew the roof off the place. This is a terrific, intimate setting to see your favorite performer.
You should also look in to why the name is being changed and how the building was used during the Tulsa massacre.

Depends on what you’re seeing, but the Brady has great acoustics. Yes, it’s a little old school in terms of the seats, but still a great venue. On the floor towards the back there are some pillars, so there’s the possibility of an obstructed view. So pay attention for that. Otherwise, it’s probably personal preference and/or a question of price.

What use to be there before the Brady Theater?
Scritta in data 25 maggio 2018
It was built in 1914, remodeled in 1930 and 1952. It was used as a detention center during the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot. All are before my time. I was born in 1953. For more info, look on Wikipedia.

cost and availability of parking, is there taxi service to downtown hotels
Scritta in data 16 marzo 2015
Parking was a couple of blocks to the northeast of the theater. Cost was $5 or $10. If you're staying at a downlown hotel, just take a taxi. The hotel might even have a shuttle.
