Decent food, it is loud upstairs, but food comes out fast and hot and servers check back often. Affordable.

Good food, good beer and an excellent waitress (Amber) We all enjoyed our dinner and drinks, food came pretty quick for a busy Saturday. GLBC is a must stop when in Cleveland!

Fun tour

Fun and interesting tour. Our guide, Margo, was fab! Good at communicating the information and great sense of humor. Really enjoyed the beer tasting - even more enjoyable from the tap. Very impressed with the Christmas Ale and Eliot Ness. I’m already a fan of the Conway’s Irish Ale. We had lunch in the pub beforehand and enjoyed our meals. If you’re a beer lover, don’t visit Cleveland without stopping by GLBC.

Great tour of true working brewery

Unlike other brewery tours I’ve been on, this was the actual brewery where all the Great Lakes beers are made. The tour could be purchased with or without alcohol. For those who drink, the tour provided four 5oz pours of whatever they have on tap in their tour room which is mostly all their beers. The guide was knowledgeable and it was a combination of short videos and in person explanation in the actual brewery. We went on a weekend so there was not the usual bustle of a working brewery, which was good because we had the chance to see the operation without a lot of the noise. We also ate at the pub which was good bar food and where you could sample more beers by ordering a flight. Fun way to spend an hour plus some time trying beers. Also received a free pub glass at the end.

Great spot by west side market

Great spot and classic Cleveland brewery. Across from the west side market. They offer food and beer. We really liked the Mexican lager with lime. It’s been one of the best we have tried. The Tidal Fury hazy ipa was very good as well. If at the market, make sure to stop in.

Excellent tour and delicious beer!

The Great Lakes Brewery tour is an excellent afternoon outing. An hour makes it easy to fit into a day of touring Cleveland. The tour was informative and entertaining and the samples were generous and varied. Highly recommend.

Good time with good brews

GLB has a great outdoor day that we got to enjoy on a perfect day. This was a stop on our self guided brewery tour so we only stayed for one beer. The brews were good. I especially enjoyed the Hefeweizen. Staff was attentive and there was a good crowd outside for a Thursday afternoon. I’d recommend at the very least stopping by for a beer. We didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the food.

Fun place with great beer

Excellent service outside and great social distancing. There were 8 of us and most had some beer flights. The Pinot Grigio was unavailable. The Ohio City salad was quite good as were the chicken tacos.

Great tour!

I wish I could remember our tour guides name bc he was awesome! Very good tour and samples. We've done a gob of distillery tours, but this was my first brewery and it was really good. Definitely worth the visit
