MainStreet BookEnds is a gem -- a family-run independent bookstore located in a historic building on Warner's Main Street. It features a terrific selection for a small store, friendly and non-obtrusive service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Floor lamps, seats and a fireplace invite sitting and browsing. The selections of children's books and New Hampshire-related books are especially good, and a gallery exhibits and sells the work of local artists and craftspeople. In warmer months, take your purchase around back to the Jim Mitchell Community Park, which honors the life and community spirit of the shop's much-loved late co-owner. FOMBEs (Friends of Main Street Bookends) get 20% off book purchases -- a great reason to keep returning -- and ebooks can be ordered through their Website.

This small independent bookstore is obviously owned by someone who loves reading and children. There were a great variety of books and a large selection for children and young adults.

This is the best around for gifts, any book you may want to find, and always a smile when you walk it. Choices for any age and anyone. The rare surprise is the gallery with local faire. Some of the most talented offer their hand-created gifts.

Very helpful. Wonderful selection. Just asked for a good read and I got an awesome recommendation. Great kids fun and educational toys too. Really liked the store.

This independent recently changed hands... locals love it and I come from AUS just to find their books, maps, personal service. Lovely stationary, and knowledgeable staff.

Love love love this little shop and it’s owner and the art gallery in the back . This little town is full of surprises and culture . Love the people and the area and for books, this is the place . So if you in the area , don’t miss this little shop. You won’t be disappointed . Customer service is great and so is the selection , including local books and art. Thank you for a great find and your hospitality . You have a beautiful town and a perfect little book store . We love our bowls . We will be back

This is a great bookstore, a place where you can go without any agenda whatsoever and leave with a book you didn't know you couldn't leave without. This is a great place to browse aimlessly, which is a tremendously relaxing thing to do. Looking for toys for the children in your life? Plenty of good, well-made choices here. Ditto for games.
This is a geat place to go when you want to relax and unwind, and where, if you're lucky, you'll find something wonderful to read. Yes, Amazon may have lots of books to buy, BUT YOU CAN"T BOWSE THERE!

Perfect local spot for whatever your book needs are! If they don't have it, they order it and it comes in so quickly. Offers a teacher discount which is helpful! They offer local goods in their back room as well as great entertainment in their outside theater. Always helpful and a big part of the community. Would choose here over a box chain store or an online website anytime. Wonderful place!

This is so much more than a bookstore! Family owned and very friendly!! You can choose from all sorts of books as well as have anything ordered.. There are also cards, games, toys, art supplies and gifts... There are many scheduled events each month and the BEST coffee in town roasted in NH!!

So many books to chose from as well as items to buy from games to puzzles, and more. Also, every so often they have special presentations of local guests and talented people to share their passion which you can find the announcements online. You feel very welcomed as the staff there is very friendly.
