When you brew a beer in Mississippi with pecans it better be good and yes Lazy Magnolia Brewing does a good job getting nutty pecan flavor into their brown ale. For a small place they have some really good pizza such as their Mischief Pizza with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and topped with a balsamic reduction is just outstanding. Everything plays nicely together and its all brought together by the the balsamic reduction on top. They also have plain cheese, pepperoni, and even a pizza topped with gator sausage. The beers that stood beside the Southern Pecan were the KT Boundary, double ipa, that just a great juicy ipa. Their Barrel Aged Sour Saison with this complex oak sour blend mixed in with the yeast crispness of a saison., its really refreshing. Finally for you fruit fans the Cherry Pickin’ was just a malt beer with tons and tons of cherries for a nice. Kid friendly no kids menu but they have pizza $$.

My kids had come in for Christmas and they wanted to visit Lazy Magnolia Brewery. We all met there and they have added a pizza restaurant since I last went there. (It has been a couple of years...) The selection of local beers is pretty good, and I may have had a few...
The pizza was good, and it is a novel approach to have with a choice of beers. There was a live band, but they were quite loud in the drinking/dining area. Be warned this is a working brewery and the facilities are in the working area of the brewery, so you can see the back room so to speak. There is also a gift shop (of sorts) where you can get Lazy Magnolia merchandise.
The brewery is definitely not on the beaten path, but it is well worth the visit as the bee selection is quite good, and fresh too!

First visit as this is a bit outside my daily travel zone. Not sure why I have not been sooner. This was a great experience. Typical brewery feel/set up. Good selection of their more unique beers not easily found in all stores. They offer delicious pizza!! I would for sure go back.

This is the most arrogant company I have ever dealt with. I got a bad bottle of beer from them that had only about an inch of questionable liquid in the sealed bottle. I still have the bottle. I tried to get a response from them through their website as well as direct email. No response. I then made a complaint through the Better Bisness Bureau with no response to them. These people are that arrogant or they are running their business into the ground and just don't care. All over one bottle of beer. They don't deserve to be patronized.

Lazy Magnolia is a nice brewery with a good selection of beers. Located near the Stennis Airport in Hancock County not far from I-10.

We went here on 3/15/2019 & had a blast! Everyone here was super, especially our new BFFs Anna and Fred! We will definitely be returning here on a regular basis to chill out and have a great time. If you like sweet, try the chocolate covered cherry, they mix their sweet cherry and sweet potato stout beers to make this amazing drink. The jambalaya was so good!!

We visited the brewery with my grandson and son-in-law when they visited us earlier this summer. The tour was very informative and entertaining and the brews were tasty. We could not resist purchasing a T-shirt in the shop and were tempted by the Lazy Magnolia glasses. Maybe next time?

The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. For $10 you got a 45 minute tour, sample of their six beer flavors and a nice keepsake glass. The only frustration was the sample size was very small and if you really liked any of the beer you couldn't purchase it there.

This is the best-known brewery in Mississippi, but I had never been there before a quiet Sunday morning recently. I had a beer "flight" (there is a general aviation airport nearby) and enjoyed the experience. People working at the brewery were friendly and interested in making my visit a good one. I also bought two kinds of beer to take away. It's just a few minutes off of I-10.

My husband and I purchased a Groupon(his beer loving idea) and we took the tour, which came with a flight of four taster beers(you get to choose and a take him souvenir glass for both of us. Now, the tour was very informative and it didn’t take very long, but I cannot say enough wonderful things about the employees, and the owner Mark. He was at the brewery, and was such a delight to talk to and we loved all the history about the brewery. I’m usually not a beer drinker, and this visit to Lazy Magnolia has definitely sold me on their beer. I love the laid back atmosphere of the tap room and the knowledge of the employees. They certainly make you feel at home and you’d like to hang out there all day. We will be back and my husband purchased the 1st Friday Mug.
