My husband and I have visited this winery and restaurant now three times, twice most recently with friends who are members there. And while I really want to like Fazeli, our experience is always the same – a pricey bill for very average wines and mediocre food.
Our first visit was on a slow weekday with only one other table occupied. We waited so long to even be acknowledged that we almost left before getting a chance to order! Our server seemed focused on the other table (perhaps members?), and was inattentive to us even after ordering wines and food. She simply delivered the order to our table with no follow-up, and gave us the bill. When with friends who were members on the two subsequent visits, service was better.
In general, I find the wines to be very overpriced for the quality. While they sell several red wine mini half-bottles (375ml or two-6 oz glasses) for $24, full bottles of red start at $55, and the whites are $30+. If you like sweet wines, which I do not, this is the place for you – they have quite a few. I don’t believe they offer any sparkling wines.
We’ve also been consistently disappointed with Baba Joon’s food. The beef on the steak & blue flatbread was very dry and chewy, and on our most recent visit, I was only able to detect a few tiny bits of chicken in a fairly flavorless chicken ciabatta club which was mostly comprised of arugula and parsley with some undercooked bacon to boot.
So as a Temecula local, I’m sorry to say that Fazeli’s is not a favorite of ours.

Awesome day celebrating with my friends and family for upcoming wedding. Karen was our server and she was great at explaining the tastings we all received. The grounds here are exceptional and beautiful wih stunning views. The staff so friendly especially on such a busy day. Can't wait to come back and tast with her again.

Rude & disrespectful customer service from Karen. Our first time visiting Temecula wine country, we tried to do a tasting at Fazeli today and Karen treated us like crap. After standing at the bar for a long time, Karen told us to move closer to her at the bar. We then tried to introduce ourselves from the Napa wine industry and that we were in the process of relocating to nearby Orange county. She cut us off and didn't let us finish our introductions. Complained to us how busy she was and was sternly focused on announcing that we would "get no discount" from her...? We had no problem paying the $25 per person tasting fee, and are members of several wine clubs in various other wine countries, but we were so stunned at Karen's disrespect that we walked out and discussed Karen's behavior with the Manager. We then tried our 2nd Temecula winery, nearby Leoness Cellars. Their customer service was very civil, so we gladly paid $50 for our tastings there, joined the Leoness Gold club, and bought a case of wine. We've been visiting/tasting at wineries for decades in many different states and countries, Karen at Fazeli ruined our first Temecula experience.

Outstanding wines and very good food. We really enjoyed the multiple flights for tasting the wines - i think we tried them all - and bought a few bottles. Great reds.

Came here for a photoshoot, the wine was amazing however the customer service needs improvement. Upon arriving, the photographer and I asked one of the servers if we were allowed to shoot in the location. She asked and said it wasn’t an issue. Once we started shooting, another server came and rudely told us to shut down the shoot, with no explanation or reasoning. I asked if it was but of my dress because my dress was a little revealing, she said yes so I changed to a less revealing dress. After about 45 minutes of shooting the same server came back told us to shoot down the shoot again with no explanation again. At this point I’m assuming it is because I am a black woman in their space. Never again will I attend this winery ran by a pretentious, prejudice owner.

My wife and I immediately joined the Fazeli Cellars Wine Club after tasting their unique wines over two years ago! The winery is beautiful with its large staircase and the area for wine club members has a fun vibe with a TV and outdoor patio. The food is delicious and the servers are very polite and hard working. We attended the Fazeli Salsa Dancing social event (pre-Covid) and had a blast! We continue to visit Fazeli at least once per month, even during Covid restrictions. The staff wears masks and socially distance. Cheers!

Oh my, I loved it here! I ordered a glass of the red Ferdowsi wine, and the hummus. The hummus was alright, and I can't speak on their other food items, but the wines were delicious! They are priced a bit higher than other wineries in the area, but the glass I had was incredibly smooth, full bodied and delicious. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and I had so much fun wandering the passageways with my wine glass. Would definitely visit again.

The two of us ate luncheon in the COVID compliant, smaller indoor/outdoor patio. There is also a much larger outdoor, but sun screened patio, that one walks across from the long flight of stairs to get to the gift shop and tasting room area. The space is large providing for hoards on more normal times but today the crowd was light - but filled the well spaced tables. A massive commercial cooling fan produced welcome blasts of cooled air that made short work of the outside 100+ temperature and provided a pleasant, but windy, ambiance. The eclectic menu of standard American coffee shop dishes and a range of eastern Mediterranean food offered something for everyone, from small appetizer platters to huge flatbreads. Corey took trouble to suggest some wines that well suited the food that we ordered. Again the range is broad from light whites to full bodied reds. The Dolma were on the small side but the Steak and Blue flatbread was a tasters delight. We thought that pricing of the wines at $12-16 a glass for a well controlled pour was on the higher side, as with the food at $14 for a plain Caesar salad and $18 for a ham and cheese sandwich baguette. Service was fast and informal with disposable plates and utensils - probably COVID driven (let’s hope this does not become a standard post COVID). With few people parking was easy, although the sloping nature of the site created much uphill walking and three long flights of stairs to get the the restaurant.

We came to enjoy a family lunch celebrating our 24 year old’s birthday. When we booked for a group of eight, we were not told we would be prohibited from sitting at one table and would be prohibited from even positioning the chairs at the two tables so four of our eight family members would not be sitting with their backs to each other. Then, our food came out erratically, with one of our orders completely forgotten. And, what on the menu is described as a walnut cream cheese dish was served with some baggers slices and some cut bread of some type. I am not sure if they thought we would not notice? But it did not matter anyway. The dish was so over cooked that it was a dry, bitter brown glob that no one wanted to eat. Finally, they had no dessert to offer. Do not think we will ever return.
