No this is not a " typical wine experience" as quoted by a prior visitor but always a welcoming one! I have been visiting now about once (or twice ) a year for the last 5 plus years. I have always felt welcome. There was a glitch with the reservation process on open table so I booked for tomorrow. However a whim I passed by today and the gentleman accommodated me in an outside open table. I visited the reds ...always an interesting to visit wines from year to year ...their perosnalities change from year to year (like children lol) . These gentlemen make theses wines here in AZ in a unique environment ....ask them about it when you visit.
Today i was treated to a special taste of the 2018 Paso Robles Cab . I left with a bottle . This is a unique wine with a clean finish, balanced and mature ...even with me not being able to let it breath very long... YUM

Had a great time! Staff was extremely helpful as I am new to wine! They had a variety of dry and sweet wines. If you are coming to Scottsdale, a must visit!

We chose this place because we had tried one of their wines at a wine festival a few weeks back and wanted to sample a few more. That said, the store opened a few hours late 11 March (fortunately we had another location on the list to visit that day). Once we got in, there was only one person working, and he didn't seem to be in a very good mood (maybe he got called in to work someone else's shift). He never even told us anything about any of the wines. All of that aside, they have some decent wines, and the cheese tray we ordered wasn't bad. The bread and oil tray was pretty bland though.
I'd say it could be be worth giving it a try as the experience might be better on another day, with another server.

Service was ok. Must have been a bad night. Did not seem happy to see anyone. Menus had no descriptions of the wines, just types. Had to keep asking questions about wines to get information. Seemed annoyed with questions as well. Displays had descriptions that were helpful so we walked around the room more that should have needed instead of enjoying conversation and wines

Great birthday stop with friends. All wines are bottled on site. Wine flights a must with very unique flavors. Don’t forget the appetizers. Alex was extremely attentive and helpful and made the visit a great experience.

Stopped here to do a wine tasting and was floored by the experience. From the table set up to the personal service, it was the most fun wine tasting I've ever had. And, the wines were really good too! The owner shared a lot about the company, the grapes he uses and how he got started in the wine business. We got the cheese plate to go with our tasting and even that was stellar. Artisan crackers, several different cheeses, including a lovely port wine cheese, and grapes. We sat around the counter high table on our stools and talked and laughed while we enjoyed our wine and cheese. Highly recommend it if you are in the area!

I went with three friends for the wine tasting. There was a great variety of wine from which to choose as well as appetizers. We all enjoyed the experience and wine so much, we each left with a different bottle.

We went as a part of a group trip as part of a larger business conference. The owner was the wine guide this day and provided a lot of background on the five selections for tasting. They also provided water, cheeses and fruit during the sampling. All in all it was very enjoyable.

After receiving a Su Vino Groupon for Christmas, we finally visited a few months later! We stopped in before dinner on a Saturday evening. I called for a reservation earlier in the day - I first requested 7pm and was told they were all booked. No problem, I booked 630 instead. We were there for about an hour, and it was frustrating because 7pm hit and there were actually LESS people there than there were at 630. So, I find it hard to believe that they were expecting this mad rush of people for 7pm. Anyway, despite that slight frustration, we enjoyed our wine tasting here. The bottle we really wanted to purchase was a special release and already sold out. It was an interesting white wine with a pina colada vibe - probably the best of the three white wines we tried. None of the wines truly wowed us, but some of the flavors were interesting. No matter which wines you choose, there seems to be a good variety. There is no restaurant at Su Vino, but they do have some appetizers on the menu. We ordered an antipasto as well as strawberries with mascarpone and balsamic. The strawberries were insane - so much so that I plan on preparing and eating them at home! SO GOOD! We were also impressed with the location of Su Vino - they've got a really great spot in Old Town! We enjoyed our experience here and would gladly visit again!

This is a fun place to do a wine tasting or just have a glass of wine. There are approximately 20 wines to choose from. For a wine tasting you pick five of your choice. They also have some light appetizers to with your wine. Employees were very pleasant. You can purchase wine at this location.
