Great experience. The center simulates freefalling without the skydiving jump and landing. They ask for your weight for safety reasons (some students will get an additional spotter). Teaches aerial awareness (reading hand signals) in a controlled setting which came in handy for my tandem jump later on.

This was my first visit and I was a little nervous. There was a short training and our instructor taught us the 4 hand signals he would use to assist us with positioning. I also went for the high fly which I recommend. To get the full experience you need to try the high fly because it is awesome! I never felt fearful and I embraced this truly fun and amazing experience. I highly recommend it!

We went to ifly Scottsdale in February. Daughter got 2 flights which we upgraded to 3 extended flights with helmet upgrade on arrival.
When we arrived there was a school bus of young kids leaving. They made a heck of a mess. Staff was quick on the vacuum though cleaning up and wiping everything down.
Check in was quick, it’s also where we were asked if we wanted to upgrade helmet. Glad we did, it had a face shield instead of just goggles and helmet. Huge difference.
After a quick instruction video and another from instructor they were ready to go. All three flights went excellent. 2 high flies as well which kid loved. The staff was beyond incredible with kids and very patient.
Bought a discounted package when we left, because we will be back!

We bought a package -10 flights in the wind tunnel with 2 adults and 3 kids getting 2 trips each. Our 7 and 10 year olds had no issues with it and had a great time, but our 12 year old was "meh". Wife and I enjoyed our two trips in the tunnel having been here once before. Got to spin in circles on our second trips as adults while the kids learned how to stabilize themselves. Alex is a great instructor, but I don't think you have much of a chance to request people as it all depends on who is on deck when your reservation is up. Just learn how to relax and let it happen; that is the most fun. Would happily go back again.

Not my usual thing to do….. but a friend had bought a package for his grandsons…. Their mom said NO! So the 4 of us went. One chickened out right away. I suited up and did my first fly……. I’m happy I did it just to say I did it. I did not go in for my 2nd fly. One and done for me!!!! It is safe tho, I’m just not a fan of heights.

We had no ever tried this before today. We had 4 people in our group. Everyone did well and left with huge smiles!!

My beautiful lady friend, her ten-year-old son and, myself were grinning ear to ear. It is a little tricky. Every movement you make will send you in a different direction so relax and follow your guides instruction and you will enjoy. Yanni was our instructor, did a great job and, in the end, showed us all how it is done great stuff. Highly recommend it should you have a couple of hours to kill in Phoenix.

how long is the actual flight?

Actual time in air is short, but satisfying as you go two times and it seems longer than 2 minutes. The whole experience is probably over an hour as you watch other customers & their instructor do tricks, watch a safety video, get outfitted, & wait w/your group watching each other & giving high five after each person.
