Questo grande bazar è molto frequentato e frequentato dalla gente del posto e non tanto dai turisti. Anche i prezzi sono buoni La nostra guida ci ha chiesto i nostri interessi oltre a suggerire gli altri, quindi ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ci è piaciuto vedere l'enorme miscela di spezie e abbiamo avuto un motivo per noi da portare a casa. Abbiamo anche fatto una degustazione di tè e comprato un pacchetto di foglie di tè di mango - delizioso. Un sacco di bancarelle di cibo, abbigliamento per tutti. Ho davvero apprezzato l'esperienza.

Good Bazzar if you Go With Your Guide

This large bazzar is very busy and frequented by locals and not so much by tourists. The prices are good too. Our guide asked us our interests as well as suggesting others so we had a great time. We enjoyed seeing the huge mixture of spices and had some ground for us to take home. We also had a tea tasting and bought a packet of mango tea leaves-delicious. Lots of food stalls, clothing for everyone. Really enjoyed the experience.

Amazing atmosphere

We were staying in a Haveli in Chandpol and were only 5 minutes walk from the Bazaar. It was an amazing vibrant place. Even crossing the street was an experience. In the Bazaar area you could buy absolutely anything from gold jewelry to food and spices and practically anything in between. What we found most interesting were the spice shops piled high with various types of dried chillies. These shops also ground and mixed all types of spices to your own specification.
We seemed to be the only Europeans there and any of the shopkeepers or vendors that we spoke to were very helpful.
If you are visiting Jaipur the Chandpol bazaar is well worth a visit.

Market for Marble stuff

We visited this market, to buy marble idol of a goddess. There are many shops which offer different shapes, sizes, prices of various marble & stone statues and idols. You can get it customized per your requirements.
There are other shops also for clothing, accessories etc.

Chandpol Bazar is also good place for shopping. This Bazar was so crowded.We can find local culture here..

Its a crowded marketplace so its ideal to visit during off peak hours. But its a good place to hang out in the city.

Not just Bazaar of items but many foodie points

The chandpole bazaars has many shops lined up at both the sides of the road. It becomes very crowded in the peak hours with cars constantly honking. But it has many foodie points for traditional quick snack items like Mirch bada, Kachauri, Lassi etc. Not for those who don't like noisy things.

Colorful and lively market

Chandpol bazaar is one of the many markets in the walled city of Jaipur. Located close to Chandpol gate it can be easily accessed by the Jaipur metro. The closest station is Chandpol. This bazaar is famous for clothes,bags, shoes, spices and of course the famous bangles of Jaipur. There are hundreds of shops lined along both sides of the road as well as smaller shops on the road. There are small dhabas too where you can get delicious and cheap Rajasthani food. Overall the market is fascinating and is a great place to walk around and see the colourful shops and people busy shopping.

great bazaar

A fascinating bazaar, especially when you get off the main road and start wandering around in the narrow lanes and walkways, which are crowded with interesting shops.
