Such a great place to figure out what to do on a weekend in Austin. Paige was extremely helpful with her advice to us. We really appreciate all the inside info. Thank you for a great time in Austin!

Very nice Visitors Center. The lady working there helped us out with booking a tour along with giving us more than enough information on what we needed for our stay.

While waiting for our Weird Austin Tour, we had the chance to shop at the adorable gift shop at the Austin Visitor Center. Found some good stuff, and the clerk was a native-born Austinite who was super friendly. The woman who was working the info desk was so helpful and friendly. She visited with us and provided us with a map, a guide, and some great recommendations. Great stop!

First stop

Make this your first stop when visiting Austin. The staff are really friendly and knowledgable.We appreciated the air conditioning before and after going on a duck tour from here. There are restrooms, which are a saviour with a young family! The souvenir shop is well stocked and we enjoyed browsing.

If you are wondering what to do in town or need something to remember your visit this is your place. The woman at the desk is very knowledgeable about the tours and when they will meet.

Nice visitor center with lots of info and plenty of souvies to shop. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to mention though that you do have to pay to park in a neighboring garage to visit the visitor center.

COOL Visitor Center!

We loved the Austin Visitor Center. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We met our Duck Adventures captain here and this is where you take off from. This was my best stop for souvenirs too. They have a great selection of t-shirts, mugs and all things Austin. Great place!!

Austin Visitor Centre Very Helpful

Took awhile to find, but definitely worth it! We went on our first day, and the staff there were friendly and very, very helpful. Tons of info on the city and the various tours.

Super friendly and helpful people

I was in Austin for SXSW but wanted to explore the city a bit outside of the festival. The employees of the visitors center had wonderful recommendations for me and when I was on my last day I was able to store my luggage there ($8 an item) until my flight.

Great welcome to Austin!

What a fabulous way to get acquainted with Austin! This visitor center should be held up to other cities as an example of what a visitor center should be. We had time to kill before we could check into our Airbnb so we walked to the Visitor Center and booked a bus tour. We had some free time before the tour and the staff made some lunch recommendations for us which were fabulous. The staff was friendly, very knowledgeable, engaged with the visitors and spot on with recommendations. They have storage available if you need to store something while you're waiting to check into your hotel or Airbnb, they mailed my postcards for me, the bathrooms were very clean, they had a small selection of snacks and drinks, there was a nice variety of souvenirs, we got a map for a mural tour and also a larger map of Austin, they explained how the streets were laid out and we based our additional tours out of the center. I think we were there every day.
