I went looking for a couple of good quality knives for everyday use. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who was able to speak in English to me as my Japanese is scant at best. She gave me a few options. I was able to try out the ‘feel’ test as to whether I liked the weight etc. She even gift wrapped them as they were presents, after she offered to have them engraved with individual names in Kana

Can't recommend this store highly enough. Daniel was fantastic. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the product was great and he was very engaging and happy to demonstrate. The knives were clearly good quality and his pride in the product was evident. We'll worth a visit🙂

A place where the staff will take the time to help you find the right knife for you. Need advice on sharpening or how to improve your technique - no problem! Want your new purchase engraved - certainly! A great place to see some real craftmanship.

Muy buen sitio para los amantes de los cuchillos , sobre todo los hechos a mano . Te los dejan probar ,el único problema es que si vas probando cualidades superiores siempre te quedas con el mejor .Hablan inglés y te explican según tus prioridades muy amables .

This store came as a recommendation from our good friend. We live overseas and brought two knives to sharpen. We received an explanation, demonstration and decided to leave our knives. AAAWWWW!!!! It was excellent!!! Our daughter purchased a knife for her boyfriend. Very glad we came to Tower Knives Osaka!!!!!

This is a great place to purchase gifts for family and friends! The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. We purchased 8 knives in total and were able to have those engraved within 30 minutes. Be sure to bring your passport for duty free purchase.

Une expérience unique et une leçon sur l'art d'entretenir et d'affuter une lame. Demander Atsushi qui parle un français impeccable et qui vous accompagnera dans votre choix et prendra le temps d'une mini formation sur l'art de l'affutage.
Je pensais y passer un 1/4 d'heure mais une heure entière fut vite passée, vous avez l'impression d'un coup d’être un vip et privilégier sur les conseils.
Vous prendrez le temps de découper des légumes avec différents modèles, afin d’être certains de votre choix final, et suivant si vous êtes droitier ou gaucher, le fil du couteau est affuter en fonction. J'ai fait graver notre nom de famille sur la lame en sus. En tous cas, un moment de bonheur et de passion partagée.

Did some research before I went to Tower Knives Osaka and it did not disappoint. The gentleman that assisted me was so knowlegeable, and patient as I asked so many questions before making a decision. He offered to engrave the knives since they would be gifts for my son, daughter and myself. Since traveling solo, he even walked me to the main street where I could catch a taxi back to the hotel. True hospitality at its finest! I would highly recommend everyone to make this one of their stops while in Osaka if not only for the purchase of one of these amazing knives, but to experience someone there giving a history lesson on Japanese handcrafted knives and to experience true hospitality!

I’m sure they will have steak knives as they have a full range. They mainly do cooks knives but they also pocket knives and all sorts of others, including nail cutters. Japan is famous for its blades. Price wise I’m not sure about as I only looked at Nakiri chief knives prices as that is all I wanted, sorry hope this helps.

TOWER KNIVES takes VISA, MC, AMEX, and JCB cards. Some debit cards do not go through, but depends on the individual card arrangement with your bank.
If a tourist, bring actual passport for tax-free purchase if total over JPY 5,400, meaning 8% is deducted in the shop from total (not a refund at the airport).
