A hill up from the city, a bitt cooler, and many houses, pool villas (I have one), restaurants, leisure activities, and kess busy than in town. Happy to spend a couple of months here every year.Happy to have a house here in spite of 10 min by car to city center

This is definitely worth a visit in Hua Hin. It's very close to clty centre and has 5 different view points to look at. Also many monkeys around but didn't seem too agessive luckily. The view over the water is beautiful.

Visited the view point as part of our honeymoon photo shoot. Was brought there in the evening (on a Saturday) by our photographer.
The area was relatively quiet and dead. Only a handful of vehicles were at the carpark where only one shop was open.
A short walk will bring you to the view point where the view was great. Aside from a few other tourists, there was no one else. Makes for easy photo shots. Not many monkeys were observed at the top. Our photographer told us that apparently most of the monkeys had moved to the base of the mountain as there were no longer many people visiting the top.
Would recommend if you enjoy scenic views. Effort to reach the view point was minimal. Terrain was easy for walking and well paved.

A bird's eye view of Hua Hin. There are 6 lookout points here and we managed just 3, #4 to 6, cause a few of us wasn't dressed for this (not originally planned but came across it when we were there) plus it's not entirely proper paved trails.
#6 was most amazing, but also most dangerous. There wasn't a proper viewing platform, and no barricades or support. A slight slip could send one to the bottom of the forest in seconds.
On the way back, our path was filled with monkeys, scavenging tourist trash such as plastic bottles strewn on the ground. Am glad the monkeys here didn't seem as aggressive but it was still a little worrying seeing them appear in hoards.

This is a great "neighborhood" viewpoint right in the middle of Hua Hin. Its 15 minutes drive from "downtown" Hua Hin.
Great views - be sure to go to trails 4, 5, 6, 2. Trail 3 is overgrown and it wasn't clear it would go anywhere interesting. We haven't yet found trail 1. Trail 2 (starts right by the "guard station" at the entrance to the parking lot) leads to an amazing view on top of a rock outcrop. Unfortunately, though, Trail 2 isn't being maintained, so there is lots of trash, overgrown branches, etc. This is surprising as nearly every day there are several women working on landscaping, raking leaves, etc around the core area of the park, especially around the main lookout ("trail" 4). They should give all the trails equal love.
There are bathrooms by the front entrance/little shop that are open. The "better" restrooms in the middle of the park were padlocked the last couple times we've visited.
Note that while there *is* a little shop & coffee spot there, the boardwalk around them is falling apart and being used to raise turkeys and the like. I've never seen anyone actually patronize those shops.
NOTE: There are MANY Monkeys here (unless they happen to all be down the hill the day you arrive). In the middle of the parking area you will find a tree under which folks have left sticks. Grab a stick both for your hike and for your return to your car. The monkeys, while generally docile, can approach you and /or sit on your car. You'll see regulars walking with sticks to ward them off.

Breathtaking views of Hua Hin.
Easily reached ny walking or bike this high point provides several unforgettable views. There are four or five different platforms and you can get a different view from each one. I especially liked the rock formations on top. I seriously recommend this place, better to go in the morning or late afternoon
Along the way you'll encounter lots of monkeys, but these ones are really friendly and kind of ignore you. They won't try to steal your bag or belongings like in Bali.
The trail is well paved, signposted and easy to walk. There are a few blind bends so be careful.

Great place for taking scenic pictures or relaxing around sundown time. The place is easily accessible and has a map at the entrance parking lot and signs pointing to the different viewpoints. I recommend three spots each offering a slightly different experience. You just have to follow the nature trails to the north and south of the mains spot - just 5 minutes walk each and you'll be rewarded with a much more secluded experience nestled in the rocks and trees.

This is a beautifully maintained park, partly formal lawns and partly given over to natural forest growth. The view point over the city and the sea is a short walk from the car park and the first thing you see are lots of happy monkeys. Although they seemed friendly, they are very naughty too and stole our drivers plastic raincoat from his car. Its well worth the visit - 'though a half hour is probably enough. There is not entry fee.

How long is the hike up by foot? What other ways are there to reach the top? And is this place suitable to climb in the afternoon?
Scritta in data 26 agosto 2018
Many locals hike up the hill about 5pm when it’s not so hot. There are two routes one from the south and one from the north, the northern route has monkeys along the road at the bottom but the most popular is the southern route. Allow about 30 minutes to hike up the hill depending on your starting point. There are several places to park a car, at the top there is a car park and shop selling water and snacks. There are 3 main view points clearly marked along trails. It is a beautiful area and peaceful. Quite hilly in places but well worth the visit.

Подскажите пожалуйста, как добраться туда
на общественном транспорте?
Scritta in data 1 agosto 2017
There is no public transport but you can pick up a Tuk Tuk from Market Village or the train station. It will cost you baht 150-200.Agree the price with the driver before you go.
