This temple is dedicated Mahadevji and is said to be built some 1200 years back. This temple is a protected monument as per the Archeological Society of India and a live temple where Mahadevji is worshipped.
Some of the exterior of the temples are destroyed by the Invaders yet its beauty can still mesmerize. This temple has intricate carvings and it's on the top of the hill. The vehicle reaches till top of the temple and there is sufficient parking space.
Even during hot summer, you will experience a cool breeze as it's on the hilltop. It's worth visiting. During rains this place looks heavenly.

This marvelous temple built around 800 years ago. It has faced invasions.
Carving done on the each block or pillars of the temple are so fine and beautiful that each carving is master piece of art.
It is on small hill top, approximately 60 kms from Pune. The small door of the temple leads into a vast space of stone pillars, exquisite carvings on the walls and excellent views from the windows

Carving done on the each block of the temple so very fine and beautiful..Example of a perfect art..We visited it during weekday so not much crowded place. You need to climb few stairs(25) to reach the temple. From the top you can catch amazing view of near by area

This marvellous temple is said to be built around 800 years ago. Its shame that it is kept in such a bad condition by govt. it needs to be cleaned and maintained. People are allowed to take food inside the premises and then throw garbage around. I request govt to take control
Of this wonderful place and make sure people don’t ruin it.

We went by public transport and made some mistakes. 1 we went to Yavat as it was closer, but there is no transport available from Yavat to Buleshwar 2 you should go to Saswad first and then from there public transport is, available till temple base

I lived a major part of my life in Pune and never knew about this temple.
It is perched on top of a hill approximately 60 kms from Pune. The unusual style domes catch your eye and it is hard to imagine that there is a large temple beneath it. The small door of the temple leads into a vast space of stone pillars, exquisite carvings on the walls and excellent views from the windows. The stone carving of Nandi is mesmerizing. There is an unusual carving of Ganesh in a female form called Ganeshwari on one of the panels.
The whole temple took my breath away.
The outside views are just as fantastic. You can sit on top of the hill and admire the vast expanse of the surrounding land, hear the birds and watch parrots perched on trees.

Built on the top of a hillock. This is a beautiful temple which is built on the lines of dravidan architecture. An offbeat temple on the hills.
It was an unplanned trip when we took off to this temple with my mother in the month of January 2022. There are no eateries there. When you come down the hill and reach the bottom, there is a small eatery where you get misal pav and the likes and very sweet tea.
The surroundings are calm and quiet. There are many sugarcan and corn farms here.
Its wise to pack your lunch and carry snack if you are visiting this temple.

I visited this spot along with friends and their family (including kids) and everybody enjoyed a lot. It's about 60km from central Pune about 10km off Pune- Solapur road near Malshiras. Situated on a hill, you can either go by vehicle on small stretch of steep ghat or hike / walk. Good time to visit is a month after start of rainy season. There's a nice view from top.
Fee / ticket: no entree fee for temple but local gram panchayat charges INR 30 as toll.
Parking: about 20 cars can be parked just besides temple
Food: only a small eatery serves local food.
What to see: Main temple along with a couple of smaller ones. Intricate stone carvings. Not sure when original temple was built but it renewed in 12th century by Yadav dynasty, then again in 18th century, and today also you see some work going on.

Anybody who has traveled recently. How are the roads during this time? I'll be traveling in a hatchback and is the road too steep?

Hi, Please do let me know how to travel Bhuleshwar temple from Pune City? It would be better if someone can give me information about timing pf ST buses or any other suitable public transportation. Thanks.
Prasad Joshi.
Scritta in data 11 maggio 2015
Don't know about ST bus.But you will get ST Buses from Swarget , but it will be very less frequency.
You will get many buses till Yevat , take any bus towards Solapur.
Prefer you own transport or hire it. Its short trip. just 1 and half hour journey from Pune.
Its towards Solapur side around 50 KM from Pune.
= Just before Yavat (40Km) take right turn.
= From Yevat its around 10 Km.
