This Resort area is north east of town and a little difficult to get to, as there are few transportation options in this area. The BRT bus route is a good option as it runs on the G216 highway which is near to the resort, but a 10 minute walk will still be required. We decided to take a taxi from the center of town which cost RMB20. The attraction is to the left of a huge hotel and conference center. An electric cart at the gate will drive you to the main temple entrance for RMB5, but we decided to take a 15 minute walk through the park. There is a gift, snack shop and restaurant on the way to the Temple. These areas had attractive camel and horse sculptures outside.
The entrance fee of RMB40 is payable on entry, and this allows access to all areas of the Temple compound. The first attraction is the "footprints of buddha" monument which is located in the middle of the path leading down to the central area. This is a important monument to Buddhists, as the footprint shapes are said to have been brought back from India by the Monk Xuanzang. On reaching the central square, there is a buddha which has two protectors on either side. Behind this ensemble is a gate structure which had carvings of men supporting the columns of the gate. To the left was a collection of Jade stones, a bull sculpture and a few gift shops. To the right was a sculpture of "mount myoka" (treasure mountain) which was closed for repairs, a museum, a white statue of a monk and up the stairs the beginning of the grape garden.
I would suggest walking to the right as soon as you have entered the central area. It is said that there are 3km of grape gardens, and it is a great place to keep cool and rest. There are many buddhas of wealth and a golden dragon sculpture next to the lake that had many goldfish. A few other sculptures were in this area, and small pagodas with incense burners. The main sculpture in the central area is the hundred children playing maitreya, which was quite interesting. The steep walk up to the tall golden buddha, had interesting sculptures on either side of the stairs. You are forced to go to the right of the Buddha and pass the bell tower, where you are allowed to ring the bell.
The hall of a thousand buddhas is the next attraction, but you are able to view many murals and other buddha figures in the rooms nearby. Zodiac sculptures line the front of the Main Hall, and you can get great photos here. Photos are not allowed in the main hall, but you will be astounded by the many buddhas of every size and shape, all are golden. There is a drum tower and a few more shops to be seen whilst walking around, and you can get closer to the tall buddha.
Plan to spend 2-3 hours here, as it is a large complex. We had great difficulty getting a taxi back into town, as we waited for over half an hour. It is a long trip from town but was worth it. There are no other attractions nearby.

Not easy to get to but when you get there it is huge. Other facilities there are limited and a couple of hours is sufficient time to see everything.

ウルムチの中心にある、丘を中心とした、広大な散策路です。一周一時間程度ですが、アップダウンもあるので、結構ひざにきました。塔のそばからはウルムチ市街地の景色を楽しめます。

We didn't know about this park, but found it by chance (the buddha was so big it was visible from quite a distance). It was very nice and a great way to spend an afternoon.

宿泊したヒルトンホテルから徒歩圏内でした。市内からは遠いです。中華寺院ですが夕方行ったためか、とても神秘的でした。

Lovely park, surprisingly beautiful, a hidden gem. Brand new as well, some areas just been finished. Worth the visit and spending a good couple of hours there

1. Take brt 7 towards north.
2. Take brt 6 after last stop of brt7
3. Ask someone about park's stop and after leaving walk towards east.
4. The gate is adjucent to the Urumqi exhibition center and Hilton hotel.
Comments:
Its a beautiful, huge park and has no enterance fee. One can take free shuttle from the gate to the tample, anyhow walk is recommended. Tample entrance fee is 40 RMB and it s worth visit thing. There is a lake as well towards northen end. Take some food with because there is not much options. Atleast required half a day to witness the park comfortably.

Very pleasant large park with many places to rest and think. Wandered into this place and was pleasantly surprised. Tucked away behind the Hilton.
