We had a final morning to fill on the last day of our holiday in Dubai, and chose a late morning tour followed by lunch on the QE2.
Brendan has recently taken over as curator of the museum on the QE2 and gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the ship and into the process of curating a collection.
Thoroughly enjoyable 90 minute tour of the ship followed by a nice lunch in the on-board restaurant. Recommended.

The whole family loved it as it was a different experience to be on a cruise ship which had a wonderful past and historical value, the service was excellent , loved the dinner buffet selection, if one should decide to go try to go in the evening so as to glimpse the fantastic sunset

The heritage tour was a unique and fun experience mostly because our tour guide Craig was so good. He was really professional and informative yet witty.

Great heritage tour. Very nice guide. You can visit many places across ship, including captain deck. If you are not hotel resident you will need your car or taxi to get to the ship.

I have booked in this hotel to explore and experience the Queen Elizabeth ship, and the experience is very nice , staff are very supportive and helpful , smiling and i have been upgraded by Mr.Ahmed once iv checked in, in fact i made a phone call while i was on my way to Dubai to confirm my booking and the Sweet lady Jacqueline was on the phone and she made the confirmation and supported me which made me more happy she called again to confirm that i have reached the hotel and im inn and she was very helpful in assisting me , I will for sure be visiting this hotel everytime im in Dubai and make it my location to stay in.
Generally speaking Staff are very nice ,professional, supportive, and welcoming, the hotel by its self is the ship as an experience to try its amazing , rooms are clean ,tidy , updated modern style of the old ship which makes it wonderful to be in.
You will never be bored at the ship as you need some time to explore the decks and the tour with Mr.Craig .
I recommend and advise all visitors to Dubay to try this experience.

大約一小時出頭的導覽。初入船內錯綜複雜，好在透過導覽的方式可以慢慢的探索。我選擇的是導覽完後接著吃晚餐的方案，晚餐的美味程度有超出期待一點。整體而言就算沒有住宿也推薦可以來特地參加導覽。

The staff are amazing! So friendly and attentive especially Imran in the Pavillion and Nasir in the Golden Lion. Efficient and very helpful
In fact all the staff have been so nice! Good food and drink, everywhere is clean and you feel the history of the famous ship. You feel like you are on a cruise! 4 hrs of " Golden Hour" in the pub helps to keep track of the money! Sitting outside in the evening with s drink is so pleasent. Taxis are cheap enough to and from the ship. Something different!

We had afternoon tea on the QE2 and what a magical experience. The guide spoke about the history of the ship and directed us up to the former first class lounge, where a wonderful afternoon tea was served.
On the table were personalised name tags and menus, which was a nice touch - photo's and bubbles served and then the sandwiches and cakes were divine.
Time to wander around the ship and admittedly, the refurbishment is still in progress, but it is wonderful to see.
A typically British thing to do!

We took advantage of a Staycation deal which gave us two nights in a deluxe room with breakfast and dinner for around 900 AED. We were greeted by the effervescent Christopher, who as well as checking us in, led the Heritage tour. Full of facts but delivered with a very entertaining style. (We were even taught to waltz in the Ballroom). The bed was comfortable (and much larger than the original ones). Dinner was a set 3-course meal, and the Maitre'D and Chef were wonderful in meeting several dietary challenges. At checkout, the bubbly Mary helped us not only to store our luggage but take advantage of the complimentary shuttle to the Dubai Mall. The Ship is moored at Port Rashid and is located near the historic district and the gold souk. We recommend this experience to visitors to Dubai.
