Operator sells tickets for the inca train which are invalid. The he blocks you and you have to pay for new tickets on your own.

With my university classmates we did the 4-day Inca Jungle with Terra Quechua Peru and it was a great experience. We did a lot of adventure sports and the safety measures for the zip line, rafting and cycling were top notch. It was more fun than the Salkantay and much cheaper than the official Inca Trail.

In general the whole experience is excellent, it has no waste, adventure tourism at its best, warmth of all the people who attended us and excellent guide, very professional, he answered all the questions we had and gave us a history lesson, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Most important thing: The operator scammed us by 270$, since we are waiting for a refund due to him booking the wrong train tickets so that we had to buy new ones on the spot. He partially transferred some of the money via PayPal only to withdraw the transaction couple of days later. He is simply scamming people of their money.

Overall to the tour:
Organisation was a joke. First guide that showed up had no idea what we booked, couldn't explain any steps of our 4D Inca Jungle Trek and simply laughed at our questions.
Tour itself was okay but definitely not worth the extra money in comparison to all the other agencies.
I can only repeat myself, just book a cheaper tour with a reliable agency in town and not with this operator

We booked the Inca jungle tour for 4 days and unfortunately cannot recommend the provider.
The providers only provide the general structure and the experience depends on the guides. Most guides are apparently not permanently employed, but work on a freelance basis for various providers. So you never know what you're going to get.
Two guides showed up for the briefing the evening before, but unfortunately they spoke very poor English. We had to explain our questions in Spanish because they weren't understood in English (we had paid extra for an English-speaking guide).
Our guide had a map from another company with him that showed the different tours. Unfortunately, he couldn't even find Cusco on the map. When we asked more questions, both guides became increasingly overwhelmed. They made completely wrong statements and when we questioned them, we were laughed at.
In the end, we got a new guide who briefed us by phone and was able to answer a few more questions. The two old guides then tried to make jokes while we were on the phone, called in and left without saying goodbye.
So much for the "first impression".
The next morning our guide arrived 20 minutes early and told us that we had bought bad tickets for Machu Picchu. What we didn't know, and what we weren't told, was that if you buy one of the mountain peaks, you automatically get a bad circle and can only visit half of Machu Picchu.
The mood was at its lowest.
When the van arrived, we realized that we had paid twice as much as everyone else in the van. Unfortunately, no one was able to explain to us that this wasn't our group, but that tour operators only book individual seats in the van and that there were therefore 3 different groups in the van.
It would have been good to have communicated in advance, as everyone in the van was surprised.
On to the first activity: mountain biking
The bikes were for smaller people and the equipment for larger people. The same size is packed for everyone and you have the option of using it or not. We enjoyed the descent itself, you get wet but it was a good experience.
We checked into the first hotel for lunch. It was actually a nice facility, but electricity and WiFi were only available from 6 p.m. and we only got a room key when we asked. Apparently the hotel didn't have any and we didn't have to worry. Unfortunately the bathroom was dirty - tip to the hotel: clean the toilet if the previous guest has explosive diarrhea.
As for the food, all meals were super tasty and we were very satisfied here. A few times our guide announced a light lunch - this consisted of salad with rolls, soup and spaghetti bolognese - so a positive surprise.
Activity 2: Rafting
The company was super good. The guides created a good atmosphere, an 11/10.
After a clarifying conversation with our guide, the atmosphere was good too. He explained a lot about nature, animals and culture. We stopped to make coffee. Our guide also made sure that we gave something back to the locals, etc. An old lady on a bridge in the middle of nowhere sold drinks and he made sure that we filled up our water with her. The hike was strenuous but doable.
Actually a good experience after the start. The hotels also got better and the zipline was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, the organizer had booked our train tickets for the return trip from Machu Picchu to Cusco on the completely wrong day and our tickets were therefore invalid. When we tried to contact the organizer and our guide by phone and asked for support, we couldn't reach anyone and were left alone. So we had to buy new train tickets for 270 US dollars, otherwise we would have missed the flight the next day.
The organizer then asked us to prove what our problem was. We were then confirmed the refund - then nothing happened for 14 days. We were put off and told that the money had been transferred to our bank account. The only strange thing is that we never gave our bank details (but maybe the organizer is clairvoyant and guessed my IBAN - who knows). Since we didn't give up and kept asking, we were offered to pay the money via Paypal.
So far so good, but unfortunately we were refunded 30 US dollars too little. The organizer kept 15 dollars to cover its own bank fees (a wild, long story was explained about this that would go beyond the scope here) and we also had to pay the Paypal fees.
In summary, the organizer was responsible for getting us train tickets, failed to do this and we had to pay an extra 30 US dollars for the stress and the hours of chasing after them.
Would we recommend this company - NO.
We deliberately didn't book the cheapest tour so that we could have a smooth experience. What did we get: Stress for 2/4 days + 14 days chasing after our money, which we didn't get back in full.

A week ago I returned from the Inca Jungle tour to Machu Picchu. I decided to book with Terra Quechua because of the excellent reviews I had read on this website and I was not disappointed. Edwin, did a great job providing us with everything we needed to make the experience unforgettable. We had a great guide, Ángel, who was very experienced and knowledgeable,
Walking along ancient trails and enjoying panoramic views of the Andean mountains is just the beginning. Inca Jungle trekking offers the opportunity to do exciting activities such as cycling along winding paths, rafting and zip lining, combining all of these activities into a unique experience.
The culmination of the Inca Jungle trek is, of course, the arrival at Machu Picchu. Accessing the citadel through this route adds a special touch to the trip, since the effort and fun of the previous activities are rewarded with the majesty of this archaeological site.

The Inca Jungle Trek was amazing! We had a 4 days/3 nights experience full of adventure: biking, rafting, trekking, zipline, hot springs! Everything was well organised, food was great, acommodations were amazing and our guides, Emerson and Freddy, were the best we could have! This kind of tour was perfect to know the history of Inca civilization, their tradicion, to observe the nature and have fun before arriving at one of the most mystical places in the world: Machu Picchu! I recommend 100% Inca Jungle!

This was an amazing adventure in the Inca jungle, from the beginning to the end Terra Quechua Peru has organized very well all the details (transportation, guide, meals, camping and equipment) they worked hard to create an unforgettable experience for us.
Our guide got even better during our hike, he knows very well the Inca history and traditions in this area. This tour combines different activities along the way.BIKE, it was amazing to descend from the mountains at over 14,130 feet,I had never been rafting before, however, these guys kept me safe while on the river. The hotel on the last night before exploring Machu Picchu was great and we were happy to rest comfortably after 3 days of full adventure.

From the management, the guide to the accommodations, everything was first class and led to an unforgettable adventure! the activities were fun and safe, good gear, professional instructors, Our guide David was absolutely amazing and very cheerful, he was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything he talked about. he thought a lot of us about the wildlife and plants in the jungle and made it very interesting! I highly recommend him as a tour guide! and Terra Quechua Peru as your travel agency.

We did the 4 day inca jungle with TERRA QUECHUA PERU, An excellent experience with this tour company in Cusco, very friendly and cordial from the first contact until our last day in Cusco, the guides very knowledgeable about the Inca culture always filled us with very good information of all the places we visited, we recommend 1000% to this tour company.Jhon, our friendly guide, did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. Our shoes got totally wet twice and he took our shoes to the laundry to dry them. He did a great job and was a sort of father to us. He also knows exactly when to go up Machu Piccu and where to stand to be one of the first to enter the site. He is simply amazing and made this tour worth every penny. Although you might pay a little more than a regular tour, it's for all the lovely details and your comfort and it's totally worth it. Also, the food you will get on the tour will make you feel like a king, I highly recommend the agency and the hike.

I found Inca Jungle tours Through an online travel article about Machu Picchu. They offered a variety of tours. Arthur is perfect for teens – subliming, downhill biking and Hot Springs Move all the tracking more fun for them. Julian as our main tour guide added a personal touch that made our trip so much more special. He literally took care of us like a good friend would who you traveled to see. We trusted him and he came through for us again and again. I could not recommend this tour company more. I was a Mom traveling alone with 2 teen girls. It was a fun, exhilarating, varied and comfortable tour. You can’t go wrong with this wonderful tour company and especially Julian as your guide.
