I did not tour the entirety of this museum, but more enjoyed all the grounds around the museum. There are a few monuments in the park, and the museum building is also quite beautiful. The park has lots of benches so you can stop and have a peaceful rest.

I am very, very interested in the topic, but unfortunately for us, we could barely get any information.
I am sure the exhibits were interesting, but there were only some titles in English. Nothing else in English or Russian. Only Uzbek. Which is a pity, as people should know about these events.
Apparently you can get a guide, but they were out while we were there. No photos either.
The park outside is gorgeous and so is the building itself. I wish I could have had the full experience.

Очень красиво и чистенько, море цветов, фонтаны. Даже страшно подумать что на этом месте когда то были расстрелы. Но посещать это место лучше вечером если это лето, очень мало мест в тени, мало высоких деревьев, очень жарко. Еще один недостаток - нет пандусов нигде. Учитывая что лестниц очень много и они высокие, то для посетителей с детской коляской и для инвалидов прогулка будет сложной.

Руководство музея почему-то запрещает вход с колясками. Пришлось держать детей на руках на протяжении всей экскурсии, что конечно ее испортило.
В Ташкенте мы встречаемся с такими ограничениями в первый раз. В других музеях, галереях, ресторанах таких проблем у нас не возникало.
Обоснование - «у нас там стекло». Каким образом испортится стекло, если возле него будет проезжать коляска с зафиксированным в ней ребёнком ни нам, ни работникам музея не ясно. Конечно гораздо лучше, если ребёнок будет на руках на протяжении часа или просто бегать по залу. 🤷♂️
Музей расположен в живописном парке. Думаю, многие родители захотели бы посетить его во время прогулки с детьми, а это ограничение существенно затрудняет просмотр экспозиции, выглядит глупо и очень по-совковому.
Кстати, ни пандусов, ни нормальных кондиционеров тоже нет. Видимо люди с инвалидностью тоже не в почете у руководства этого музея.

Мемориальный комплекс - не только место скорби, сегодня здесь царит жизнь! Вечерами в парке гуляют семьями, много пожилых людей, молодежь сидит на газонах. Здесь очень чисто, уютно и прохладно. Тем страшнее осознавать, что когда-то на этом самом месте происходили массовые расстрелы.

Красивое и имеющее значение место - очень красиво, большая и красивая территория, фонтаны, красиво оформленная набережная, музей, в котором можно узнать о переселении и репрессиях по отношению к населению, с фотографиями и приказами.

Приятно погулять по парку, красивые фото и видео на память) В музее нам не разрешили фотографировать, но посетить его стоит, интересно прикоснутся к истории, тем более цена символическая) советую к посещению

The monument with the small park around is well-kept and looks beautiful. The museum is small but nice, with 2 turquoise blue domes.
The memorial and the museum "In Memory of the Victims of Repression" applies to the years under Soviet reign until Uzbekistan became independent. Mainly the time under the Bolsheviks, from 1917, and under Stalin. Authoritarian power through politics, the police, the public prosecutor's office and the judiciary - not only towards individuals.
The place is nice and tells of history and the understanding of suffering under Soviet reign. Historically relevant, tragic and sad.
Definitely a must if you want to get to know the history of Uzbekistan. Also nice for a cozy little walk there, really a nice monument and little park around.
The monument can be viewed in combination with the city tour by bus. There is a short stop of around 15 minutes. Or else, if you want to visit the museum, you can take the bus or the metro (Shahristan St). I prefer the taxi.

This museum is truly one of a kind and is a very unique place in Tashkent. The museum consists of three big chambers, each focusing on the hardship of life communism and what people went through.

This small museum is a memorial to those imprisoned or killed since the mid 18th century until the departure of the Soviets. Provides a sad but important insight into this period of Uzbekistan's history.
