We had so much fun here!! We did two escape rooms, the first with a group of 6 and the se ond with just 2 of us (would recommend a smaller group, somewhere between 2 and 4, as 6 people was too many for the easier puzzles). Still, both rooms were fun and we definitely had to use our brains.
We also did the virtual reality (hologate) and it was one of the funnest experiences I have ever had. I was a little unsure at first because I dont like sensory things, but the headsets didnt feel restrictive or claustrophobic at all. The games they had for virtual reality were also super fun and designed for different people and levels.
Lastly, the staff were friendly, funny and extremely helpful at all times.
Cannot rate this place high enough! Definitley give it a go if you have some tike to spare or just want a fun group activity

We did the 12D movie with our 3 kids (aged 5, 8 and 10). They all absolutely loved it!! As did my husband and I. Such a great experience. Highly recommended

The outdoor escape room was fantastic fun - a great way to see Queenstown township while also solving the challenges.

The perfect experience for the kids while the adults go out for a meal in Queenstown! Kids are well cared for and have an absolutely amazing time - it is a fabulous activity in QT. Our kids loved the new escape room experience!

Amazing experience at thrillzone. Max was super friendly and helpful. We finished the escape room just in time! , thanks to the helpful hints along the way.

I had an amazing time at the indoor escape room and motion VR theatre experience, and I can't recommend it enough! The escape room was filled with clever puzzles, hidden clues, and an immersive storyline that had us fully engaged from the start. The staff, particularly Max and Dallas, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we had a fantastic time. The mind-blowing virtual reality effects took the excitement of the motion theatre to a whole new level. This combined experience was unlike anything I've ever tried before, and it left me in awe. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, don't miss out on this fantastic escape room and VR theatre experience with the exceptional staff members Max and Dallas. Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled adventure that will blow your mind!

We booked a VR Escape Room for a family of 5 at 11.30am. On arrival we were told that they could not accommodate 5 of us at that time (!!!) despite the online confirmation of our booking and said could come back later or split the family up into two teams, which was what we had to do - not a happy start.
We then ended up waiting over half an hour to start and despite completing all family details on line at time of booking, we had to do it all again.
And frustratingly, when we got to the VR area there was no one else in it and we could all of played the game as a family. The team there really didn't seem to care nor could they explain things very clearly.
The game itself was quite well done but as they started so late, we had to finish before completing as we had other bookings that day.
So not the activity we booked and a disappointing, expensive experience.

This is not what what the title or description suggests. Basically it is a walk around the front of Queenstown and a bit of the park and when you pass certain places you do a very simple puzzle on an iPad. That's it! Will amuse energetic 5yo's but truly not a game of anyone who has done an escape room. Grossly overpriced for what it is. Give this a miss
