First dive back after a fifteen year break. Redey and the team at Hanimaadhoo were very professional and selected a suitable dive site. They had plenty of gear for the ‘larger’ body size. I hope to get some more dives in with them before I go home. Great crew.

I had an incredible experience getting my Open Water Diver certification at Hanimaadhoo Dive Centre. As a female solo traveller who can’t swim and was phobic of water, I never thought I could do it—but Redey and Hassan made it possible! Their patience, encouragement, and expertise turned my fears into confidence. The dive center is professional, friendly, and offers stunning dive sites. If you’re looking to learn diving, this is the place to go. Thank you for making the impossible possible! I would 100% complete the rest of my certification and visit Maldives just to learn from this team.

We had an amazing trip! They know what they are doing, and are well accommodating to all levels of snorkeling. If you are in this area, I highly recommend you check them out.

Very good guides, beautiful dive sites, new rental materials and great service!
We dived with a group of divers (16 people) at Hanimaadhoo Dive and Watersports in November 2024. Everything was perfectly arranged. There are more than 20 different dive sites! Each dive site is well briefed and the current is checked every time. Spot on! Beautiful pinacles, beautiful reefs, canyons with large schools of fish and wrecks. This diving school is definitely recommended!

Hanimaadhoo Dive and Watersports has completed our diving adventure. During our 10-day trip with our diving club we were able to enjoy a perfect organization under the leadership of Redey. The professional guides Ripe, Hassan and Haiman were truly exceptional - their expertise and attention to detail made for amazing underwater discoveries that we would otherwise never have seen.
A highlight was the organized fishing evening, which made the trip complete. The service, professionalism and dedication of the entire team make Hanimaadhoo Dive and Watersports an absolute must for any diving enthusiast. I can highly recommend this diving school!

Totally awesome!!! Upcoming diving school where you notice they go 100% for it. Enthusiastic and close-knit team that works professionally and even wants to help with everything outside of diving. They have a boat ready to make beautiful dives in the immediate vicinity. Opposite the diving school a lovely guesthouse has just opened so if you are looking for local accommodation and want to dive then you are absolutely fine here...

This is a great local dive center with very nice people! Aiman was very nice and we felt very welcomed! 🍀🏝️
We did two day dives and one night dive. All dives were nice, especially the night dive was amazing as we saw very special tiny creatures 🔥😎

Went for my first dive with the Hanimaadhoo Dive Centre along with a few friends. Had an amazing and wonderful experience!! Definitely a must try!!

Diver center in the north of maldives. There are wonderful diving sites that cannot be reached by liveaboard. Local diving centers know the local underwaters very well. Experience the best diving. Tila means underwater mountain in Maldivian language. There are many wonderful tilas here. I each dived with two instructors. At Heaven and Hell Point, you could see soft corals of various colors. At the Hanimaadhoo house reef, I was able to see octopuses, turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, and white tip sharks. You can find giant clams, nudibranchs, lobsters, shrimp caves, etc. Therefore, biodiversity is very high and well preserved. There are many local restaurants and the food is delicious. The accommodation introduced by the diver center is also clean and friendly. If you choose this place for a diving trip, it is a great choice. Let's go diving.

The experience to dive with the guys from Hanimaadhoo Dive & Watersports was awesome. We really recommend it!!!
I had already a bit dive knowledge but no OWD. Redey and his team were very kind to me and my girlfriend, who did not dive for a while. In the beginning they gave us some refresh theory and then took us slowly to the unbelievable underwater world. They were sincere and funny, but in the same time very professional.
I went several times diving with Redey, Aiman and the team and every trip was amazing, because of the spots they took us to and the friendly atmosphere they created.
Aiman had a great and funny attitude but in the same time he was professional and took care of me the hole time, we were under water. He also had a great eye for animals, so he was able to show me many animals - from snails to Turtles and Manta rays.
The spots they showed us were great and always gave us opportunities to see wonderful sea creatures.
Once, after a diving session, we saw a whale and Redey, Aiman and Aroa took us 1,5 h on an extra adventure trip, because of their passion for the animals - it was unbelievable. I am very thankful for these special moments and the time we spent together. This connection was more than only a consumer relationship.
But beside my personal experience, I can say that the guys are really professional, have a great knowledge of the underwater world and the prices are very good and fair.
After 2 month we are still looking back with a smile and only great memories with the guys from Hanimaadhoo Dive & Watersports (Redey, Aiman, Aroa and the rest of the team).
Thanks to them, I made my OWD afterwards and continue to get better to come back some day to dive with them again.
