I thought the clubhouse and restaurant were unbelievably nice. The foam on my Guinness was even stamped with the Carriage House logo. The practice area was huge and immaculate. Great golf balls, well defined targets, and after using a club a few times I set it aside and a man was right there to clean the clubs. I could get used to being pampered like that.
Fazio did a great job with upgrading the layout. There were lots of variety between holes and great elevation changes. All of the greens were elevated and the SubAir system made them perfect. My caddie was a rookie but he did a great job helping me (also a rookie) navigate the course.

This *lovely* country golf course can be easily mistaken for the expensive one across the river. This reasonably priced (€35) course from 1900 is *beautifully* groomed and a treat to golf. I loved the old castle as a backdrop and ancient trees along the fairways. The greens were amazing - nice tight grass well maintained. There are no water hazards (that I saw), just a few sand traps. The course can be challenging in it’s narrow layout and yet gracious if you fly a ball into the other fairway. ;-) I think the Irish Fairies helped with bounces off of trees. I would love to play this course again.

When you enter the gates of this 5-star luxury resort, you are greeted by two gentlemen dressed in black tails and hats. Our driver/guide asked if we could drive around the lovely landscaped grounds. The only caveat was we could not get out of the vehicle to take photos. The grounds of the Manor are impeccable as is the golf course. To play golf, you must request permission to do so and wait for a yay or nay. A round of golf costs upwards of $300 US. The manor was once the family seat of the Earls of Dunraven.

Adare Manor is a GREAT hotel. I’ve stayed in many wonderful hotels across the globe. If those were 4 star hotels, then Adare Manor is a 45 star hotel. We were there for the wedding of our son, Brandon Wilder. Adare Manor is a fairy tale wedding venue
The attention to detail is unparalleled. When you get out of bed at night the lights turn on in the bathroom and the bathroom floors are heated. When a groomsman didn’t have black socks Adare brought some up immediately, when a guest had to depart early before breakfast they had pastries and to go cups of coffee waiting.
My 1st morning at breakfast i asked for hot water because I brought my own chai tea. They said they have 33 types of tea and proceeded to make a chai latte with fresh spices. The best I have ever had. Later they delivered some to my room. They also made sure I had some at the wedding reception.
The grounds and club club are spectacular. We had 4 foursomes play. The caddies were so friendly and knowledgeable. The course was immaculate. I would come back just to play golf.
Our daughter did falconry and it was amazing. They let the birds of prey fly onto your arm.
The food at the Manor is simply wonderful. And the bars, especially the Tack Room, are a fun place to hang out and unwind.
The Manor is close to the Village of Adare. We had a blast doing a pub crawl through the Village.
If you are ever in Ireland find a way to stay at Adare Manor. You will be impressed.

L'Adare Manor est un palace comme on aime, tout y est exquis, l'hôtel, les salons, les chambres, les différents restaurants. Nous avons spécialement fait un détour pour séjourner dans cet hôtel et nous n'avons pas été déçus bien au contraire, ce fût le plus bel hôtel de notre périple en Irlande et nous ne voulions plus en partir, très agréable piscine intérieure, peu fréquentée par les golfeurs, divin afternoon tea, superbe bar à cocktails...une expérience inoubliable ! A conseiller à tous ceux qui aiment le vrai luxe.

We visited The Adare Manor as part of a 3 week family getaway to London and Ireland over Christmas and New Years. We visited for afternoon tea and myself, husband and two tween daughters simply fell in love with this place. We enjoyed afternoon tea at all of our favourite places in London at The Wolseley, The Ritz, The Savoy and in Ireland at Dromoland Castle and Fitzgerald Castle and we all agreed The Gallery at Adare Manor was one of the best!
The week before we flew home, we decided we needed to go back and stay for our last two nights and we are SO pleased that we did.
May I just say that every single staff member here went out of their way to talk to us, get to know us, and help us with ANYTHING that we wanted. We enjoyed lunch and dinner in the Manor as well as many meals in the carriage house, a movie in the cinema, a horse and carriage ride through the grounds, and a mist laded woodland walk to see the enchanted forest. Our two tween daughters enjoyed this place as much as we did.
This property is exquisite and we enjoyed every magical filled corner. The sympathetic and gracious restoration was the best we have seen thus far. Take a candle home so you are reminded of this fairy tale when you leave. The delicious scent of the rooms stayed with me for days.
We are already planning a return visit at Christmas time. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

I concur with the previous review not to be confused with The Manor Course. This is a lovely Club run by lovely friendly people the facility offers great golf and service by the front of house staff especially Noreen & Theresa and Team proving great service and food. The kitchen provided a great meal on Saturday evening despite the fact that they had catered for a society day Dinner earlier in the day..

Not to be confused my it's more expensive big brother across the river. Adare Manor Golf Club is a very nice, locals golf course with friendly people playing and running the facility. The course itself is good - great greens, lush fairways, fair traps. Cost is much much less and a better bargain for our group than the other one.
