My sister and I were visiting family and happened to pass tis shop. We went in for a look and ended up spending two and a half hours painting a toadstool house and an Elf. Really enjoyed the experience, had a good laugh and the people there were great. I don't think they'll forget us "Yorkshire girls" for a while.

We had an amazing couple of hours at Periwinkle Pottery over the May bank holiday. So fun and a lovely atmosphere.
The staff were lovely, very informative and helpful! Our items were posted to us and were really well wrapped.
Would definitely recommend, and will visit again next time we are in Saundersfoot!

Went to this place last year and gave fabulous reviews. So booked in advance for a return this time with granddad and son joining last year's attendees of ban, daughter-in-law and 3 grandkids, and 2 dogs. Another fabulous time spent as a family. Grandad and son commented on how they missed out last year. Fabulous staff who were helpful in every way without being intrusive vwe can't wait for our items to arrive on the post. I definitely recommend this place whatever the weather. A fabulous two hours spent in relaxation and imagination. thank you very much. I definitely recommend this outfit and would definitely book when next in Saundersfoot.

It's a lovely idea and a really nice thing to do with young children, we took my 8 year old neice, and she had a great time. We have visited this pottery place a couple of times in the past and have always been impressed with how fun and enjoyable it was, but this time around our experience was different.
We phoned the week prior to reserve a table, which we were heavily discouraged from doing as it "wouldn't be necessary". I live in Pembrokeshire and know how busy Saundersfoot can get during the school holidays so after insisting, our reservation was accepted.
Upon arrival we were slightly surprised to be told that there would be a charge of £5.50 per head (for the paints) on top of the price that you pay for your chosen piece of pottery, most of which were upwards of £15. This never used to be the case, so as you can imagine, we were slightly surprised by this.
The staff overseeing the pottery part of the experience were incredibly young, and I felt they could have benefited from the supervision of somebody more experienced. Like I say, we had a lovely time but I'm not sure it would be something I would be doing again in a hurry.

We held our Pilates class Christmas brunch at the Periwinkle yesterday. Kim the owner and her staff were excellent so attentive, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent too we had two ladies turn up who hadn’t booked and they were accommodated without any fuss. It was seamless.

We visited this pottery painting place on Wednesday. We had booked the previous day and said we were looking forward to painting a starfish which was greeted with a smile. We said it was just the girls that would be painting.
When we arrived the following day we were told they were very limited on stock which was an understatement. We picked the initials of the girls and a heart each. Once we had started painting we were informed that they may not be ready before we went home but they could post them on for a charge of £5.
While we were painting our letters we overheard another customer being told for best results we needed to do three coats of paint. We were not given any of this information on arrival.
When we left and paid I noticed we had been charged an additional £9 for me and and mum sitting with the girls while they painted their letters. To say I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth after the whole experience would be an understatement. I felt totally ripped off and the customer care they showed was appalling. I’ve done pottery painting with my daughter and this was by far the most expensive and poorly set up. We should of been told when we booked about limited stock, charge for sitting with our children and that they had no stock of the items we told them we wanted to paint. We won’t be back and I wouldn’t bother taking your kids either.

Such a lovely place! My boyfriend and I visited right before new year to paint some pots, we were provided with everything we needed; paints, brushes, aprons etc. All for a very small studio fee of £11. We had the option of painting in acrylic and taking the same day of getting it fired in the kiln and sent to us via the post. We opted for acrylic paint. The owner was so lovely and helped us with everything we needed, she was also lovely towards our dog and had no problem having him off the lead and letting him roam. Highly recommended this lovely spot to families and children.

Poor quality food, massively over priced pulled back marginally by the service.
We ate here on 2 September. We were slightly taken aback when the waiter came outside and started taking our temperature without asking.
Starters we ok. Calamari was cheap shop bought stuff (think Iceland), the Camembert was better.
Our son’s meal of chicken, chips and peas was ok. Chips are really rubbish quality, overly thick cut and extortionately expensive (£3.50 per small portion).
The mains were a rip off. We had the Chicken Gyros. £11 each for a pitta bread, a handful of mixed salad and three chunks of chicken breast. These came in small enamel bowls and looked more like a child’s portion or a starter.
We complained and were offered a 10% discount.
I hope that when CV19 is over, after everyone has been ripped off that establishments such as these will remember how they behaved and the quality of the food they turned out when people are able to travel again more easily: let’s not have any bleating when the UK tourism industry is on its backside again.

We booked to occupy the kids for a couple of hours on a rainy morning. 2 adults and 3 kids aged 4,7 &9. It was joyous! Even me who cannot draw or paint enjoyed this pastime. The environment was clean and bright. The pottery blanks were varied giving great choices. The paints were clean and well ordered. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be booking again next year. Our artwork arrived in the post promptly and undamaged. We are very pleased with the kiln finish.

Had to sit outside as inside busy but no cover provided over tables. At least offer an umbrella for when it rains to stop food getting waterlogged on plates, plus seated too close to busy main road with lorries & buses speeding by. Apart from food being soggy it was overpriced - £3.00 for a kids jam sandwich which was basic shop bought white bread seems extortionate, £3.10 for a latte plus 50p extra for dairy free milk with a further 30p extra for de-caf. Would not recommend
