I went there in 2021 December and was told that it is closed during the pandemic. I am not sure it is reopen during current endemic.

The temple that runs this wonderful experience charges nothing. However a few "enterprising touts" will charge anybody approaching a parking or entry fee.
Challenge them in BM and you might avoid the "entry fee". Show them a Malaysian government ID and they'll run a mile. Basically these are scammers ruining an otherwise rather lovely place.

Good Experience
1) Nice decorations. In the darkness night, between the trees; there is the light with different colors.
2) The sound of the ocean, making it a peaceful place to be.
Note
1) Please be aware of your steps. As the trail is a bit dark.
2) Not so much maintenance nowadays.
3) The parking is a bit tricky. If you park outside, it may cost you RM5.00 (given to some "smuggler"). However if you want to park inside (temple's compound), you need to drive between local Chinese houses.

Lighting setup was brilliant and pictures are captured beautifully. Paid RM5 for parking entrance. No fee for the temple entrance.

💯 to whoever it was, who conceptualised what he read & saw, to design this garden, and put it on the tourist map. Who says watching TV is bad for you, huh, huh??
A cross between a scene from Avatar and the LED rose garden in Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul, this garden attracted some curious locals.
Photographs can be amazing, after lots of edits! Otherwise, there is nothing much here. But, for an entry fee of RM1/person, don't just take my word for it.... just go, then YOU yourself can claim there is nothing much here 😂
Tip : parking is a problem, because there're residential flats in the area. Park at Tesco, and take a slow 7min walk (500m) to the Gardens. There is a well-lit, wide pedestrian path. Tesco car park is FOC and closes at 1am.
Bigger Tip : Go early, have dinner at Pearl Garden first, which is just beside the Garden. The crabs are pretty good. The Garden lights up from 8pm.

Not recommended. Imagine the parking hassle, and having to pay RM5 for it and you end up spending only about 15 mins at most walking around. That’s all. It’s just a small area, with friendly dogs around the temples. Please don’t drive all the way here for this unless if you are around the area.

I have heard a lot about this place from my friends and I finally had a chance to visit it. This place has horrible parking and before you enter you will need to pay a small maintenance fee. I got kinda turned off even before I went in so I hoped that the view would be worth it. The creative light decorations do create a nice view at night but the walk can be dangerous as it is quite dark. Overall, this garden does provide a nice view but in my opinion the cons outweigh the pros. Horrible parking, can be quite crowded and dark. Dangerous for small kids and elderly with trouble walking.

A good place to drop by when you're near to this place. You'll see trees hanging with lights, led flowers etc. But the parking space is a bit limited. Overall ok.

It is hard to get a parking and the only things can do is be careful while walking on the dark road and stairs. Still can take a nice photo there but nothing else can do

I saw a few reviews of this place and some blogs. I thought it would be a nice place to pass the night away. Kept my expectations low but found it lower than my expectation.
First no proper parking. There a few jaga kereta boys guiding you. So you have to pay RM5. This was alright for me.
2nd You had to walk pass a narrow street. With houses on both sides. Which was alright by me.
3rd Entrance fee was cheap RM1.
4th But when we got in.it was lots of wooden staircase up. So my mum in law and wife didn't follow. Me and the kids went up. The way was very badly lit, that we had to use my hand phone torch to light up the place.the trees were not lighted up like in the pictures. I felt nothing was lit. There were nothing to see. Luckily the entrabce was cheap. We just let it be. Felt it was a wasteof time.
My Verdict
The place needs some work. Floorboards were rotting. I even saw a lady trip while walking down. Very hazardous. The lights were not on. I just like walking into a dark forest. Nothing to see. Quite disappointing.
A great idea but due to lack of maintance went down the drain. Not worth the visit.

When I came in February the place was great. It was clean and all the lights was on. Yesterday in Mid April I went back and apparently the main lights that are hanging down the big tree was off and the place was full of trash as if it starts to get abandoned. What is going on?

You can catch a 101 or 102 from Komtar will cost about 2 Ringgits get off at Tescos or the the one after and from there you have to walk. It is not sign pist d you have to walk through a little village, but not far and well worth it. GRAB is a good alternative 7 Ringitts and if you have the app can catch it too the door and will pick you up from The same place. Go at dusk so you can see the topiary as well as the lights.

The lights come on every night, just as it gets dark, about 7.30pm.
I'm not sure what time they turn off.
