Beautiful vineyard with excellent views. The tour was extensive and the vineyard staff very friendly. The 50 euro pp tour fee is steep in my opinion and that was the only reason I would not give 5 stars.

We were a little late for our tour but this was no problem for Helena. She warmly welcomed and relaxed us. She caught us up on what we had missed. She was friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. The vineyard is in a beautiful setting and the story of how it came to be was so interesting.
After the tour was the tasting. The wine was enjoyable but we have to say we were all disappointed with the small measures we were given. We had the premium package and were given less than other people around us. They did have tapas unlike us but my understanding was that the increase in cost did not relate to how much wine you were given.
If the wine measures were closer to what we expected for what we paid, and have had at many other vineyards we would of scored a 5.

We visited the winery with customers to enjoy the most western winery in Portugal.
Wines were OK but the service of the people were great. If you are looking for a great day at a winery, take a tour here.

Great information. Pedro, our guide, was attentive and genuine. Earnest and engaging. We learned a lot and the wines were great. We bought 7 bottles among the four of us. Definitely worth the premium tour

Fantastic tour of the vineyards & winery at Casal Sta Maria. Very close to Sintra and even Lisbon for a day trip activity. Our guide was very knowledgable and we loved hearing stories of the founder. Wine tasting at the end was the icing on top of a wonderful tour.

We were staying in Cascais and wanted to go to a winery to try some Portuguese wine. WHAT A FANTASTIC experience. The tour was amazing and was led by João, who was absolutely great and very funny. If you’re thinking about going to a winery let this be your first choice! The Rosé and the Vinho Branco (white wine) were amongst my favorites. Overall, a great time and I can’t wait to go back! Bonus, there are cute dogs on premise!

Tolle Weine, schönes Anwesen, interessante Führung und sehr nettes Personal. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis und der Wein war sehr lecker. Jederzeit wieder

My hotel in Lisbon recommended this tour and wine tasting from a few that exist in the region.
I came here by taxi from Lisbon and the driver waited for me, which worked out really well.
I was met by Joao and he told me the fascinating story of the vineyard. I will not divulge this story here so you must get it first hand.
I tasted six of the wines. Three white, two rose and one red. If I had been in my car there is no doubt that I would have bought a few cases. All of the wines were excellent.
This rates as one of the best wine tours and tastings that I have had and I really do thank Joao for that.

We had a wonderful trip to Casal Sta Maria; the sun was shining, the wine was flowing and our guide Mara was fantastic.
It’s lovely to walk around the vineyard and understand more about the difference in the grapes they’re growing in this seaside winery.
The team at Casal Sta Maria are absolute gems; when we couldn’t source taxis for our group of 9, they even offered us lifts back to Cascais. They’re hospitable, welcoming and knowledgable.
Something that might be nice to include - it would be lovely to taste the wines as you walk around, so it almost becomes a part of the tour as you’re learning about the process.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We visited 3 weeks ago. From start to finish this was the highlight of our time in Portugal. Joao really looked after us. The tasting was superb and accompanied by the tapas, it was perfect! I would highly recommend an afternoon here!
