Excellent tour. Unique and fun. Antonio was a great tour guide. Wine and appetizers were great. Good tour if searching for something a little different.

Olivia was our guide and she did a great job. We were a little late and she adjusted as needed. It was the first time i heard my kids say they had enough ice cream (gelato)... She was super knowledgeable not just of the gelato but also other facts as we walked from gelato shop to gelato shop

Christina catered to all of our requests.
The market visit with some munchies on the way was fun and interesting. Our highlight of the trip was artisan visits. Mesmerized by the scagliola and traditional marble artistry as well as in depth look at the intricate silver smith jewelry studio. We very much enjoyed our private tour.

We did the Progressive food Tour with Curious Appetite in Florence which was wonderful. Olivia was wonderful guide she took us to amazing food places and gave us recommendations for other times as well. It was cool to learn history while eating. This was a great way to see the city while meeting fun people and having food you might not otherwise try. Olivia even was available on WahtsApp to ask for recommendations on other days. And gave the best gelato recommendations. We had meat and cheese, wine, pasta, Florentine Steak, and gelato!!

Booked the private artisanal gelato making experience. It was amazing! The chefs were great with my wife and I and we learned so much. The gelato was so delicious, best we had in Florence!

We booked a private family food tour while we were in Florence right after Christmas (2 adults and 2 teens). Olivia, our guide, was so friendly! We sampled a wide variety of foods: morning pastries and coffee, fresh pasta, lampredotto, ribollita, amazing olive oils, vinegars and other condiments, a lovely charcuterie spread and the most delicious hot chocolate and cookies to finish! It was a lovely time and Olivia not only discussed food with us, but also history and culture. It was a great introduction to Florence!

We had a great time with Adrian during our food tour! She made sure that we were all well-looked after, including my mom who is a celiac. She was knowledgeable and happily answered all our questions. Thanks for a great tour!

My wife and I both loved the restaurant crawl. Our guide/hostess Adrienne was a major factor in that - she was passionate and her extensive knowledge tipped the scales from "really good" to "wonderful." The food and wine were outstanding too! - in fact, we reached out to Curious Appetite to get the names of a couple of them so we can hunt down more stateside (we hope).

Incredible cooking class in Meri’s beautiful home. We met at a market to buy fresh produce, bread, meat from a butcher. Then walked to Meri’s home to prepare the 4 courses. A salad, a homemade ravioli, chicken entree & tiramisu. Great meal, great instructions and very hospitable. Would recommend to anyone with an interest in cooking!

How suitable are any of your tours for a vegetarian?

Hello, I'm the founder here and I assure you we do have options for vegetarians- we strive to be very flexible in our options: vegetable (like eggplant parmigiana) and/or legume based mains, fish options for pescatarians (even though Florence is not the best city for fish being far from the coast) so just send us a message prior to booking or make a note in your booking form and we'll be sure to arrange something delicious! Hope this helps to any one curious:)
p.s. Apologies to crystalgoddess- unsure why she had this experience- we always have a few different vegetarian options so we will make sure the team is aware of this experience as to prevent it from repeating

On the Brunello di Montalcino tour, do you get a chance to see the famous hillside zig zag road lined with cypress trees near La Foce or any similar hillside postcard worthy views?
