We went on a day tour of Verone through TUI from lake Garda. I have to say it is the guides that really make it. Our guide Fabio R. was great very interesting, knowledgable and funny. He took us round in the morning then cut us loose to explore on our own in the afternoon, thoughly enjoyed it. If I had to pick at anything it would have been Romeo and Guiliettes balcony which was quite underwhelming!...well it is only a story after all :)

Great Day Trip with Viator Day Trips. Booked in UK thro Trip Advisor. Made especially good by guide, who was funny and informative. Fluent in German, English and Italian, and probably many more languages! He recommended and took us to a v. good restuarant, meal plus wine 10 euro. Walking tour taking in squares, and of course, Romeo and Juliet balcony. Time for shopping and relaxing, great value day out. Make sure you wear your walking shoes, as its a v. interesting city and you can walk for miles! I was told their Venice trip is especially good as it includes day and evening tour.

Great tour! My daughters and I loved this walking tour. Davide was an exceptional guide and was able to make the morning interesting (even to my two tweens) for the whole family. If you go to Verona, try to book this.

Let me preface this by saying that my fiance and I are big foodies and food plays a big role in our vacation destinations. We just did the Verona Streetfood walk and had a truly memorable experience. Serena, our guide, is from Verona and took us to so many great places. Our favorite was probably the cheese shop where we tasted so many wonderful things with a great view of the river. Don't even think of having lunch after this walk. We came to Verona primarily for the wines, but totally fell in love with the food.

We only had a few days to spend in Verona and wanted to make the most of our time there. This tour was perfect for to see the city itself and also visit an Amarone winery. Both guides were wonderful. Davide for our Verona city walking tour and Mario who took us to the Valpolicella wine area for lunch and winery tour. We actually wound up booking tours for both of our days with Verona Day Trips and they exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth it.

We had a super day in Verona and nearby Valpolicella eine area. Our tour for the 4 of us started with a city walking tour. Our guide, Davide, was top notch. He even managed to keep our teens interested. We especially liked the Roman Theatre and views from there. Then our wine guide, Mario, drove us into the countryside where we had a gorgeous lunch with wine. After lunch we visited a small winery and tasted many wonderful wines and cheeses. This day was the highlight of our time in Verona.

Verona is a wonderful city and our guide made it even more so. This is one of the best walking tours we have ever done - it really gave us a great intro to the city. We feel like we saw not only all of the highlights but also some charming areas far from the crowds. We found Verona Day Trips through their sister site, Venice Day Trips. Would suggest this tour for fellow lovers of Italian history and architecture!

One of many great cities in Italy. Very nice, romantic place. Verona is a city with many stories, old stories. Visit Arena, drink a coffee and spritz in a market, watch people, try their ice cream. Do not follow the steps of many tourists, try to enjoy the old italy, small streets and restorans, meet domestic people, look how they live. I love Italy!

Верона- небольшой городок, которому, пожалуй, нет равных по количеству архитектурных красот и достопримечательностей! С изобилием всего прекрасного мы ознакомились, взяв однодневную экскурсию по городу. Прекрасно, организованно, незабываемо!

Really enjoyed wandering around the city on a day trip from Riva La Garda. Plenty to see and a photographer's paradise. Beautiful buildings and squares. Romeo's house is just as intriguing as Juliet's balcony, although a Banker now owns the building so only external views allowed. The tri-colour marble pavements are gorgeous, if a little treacherous in the wet! Our guide was a typical laconic Italian guy, very knowledgeable and with a relaxed manner. Would recommend a visit if in the area.
